There is such detail in every part that has been created, and such a tragic story line to follow.Needless to say, this animation isn't for the faint of heart at all, but for those who can appreciate what effort and planning this took, it's quite an experance. Good God, this was powerful. No wonder I gave it a high rating for BAA 2010.

The combination of the music (which creeped me out more than the animation) and the flipbooks was just great.

This is incredibly disturbing (but I wont lie, I do have a little bit of a liking for the dark and morbid), its sad too though, when you think that all of this (or similar might happen to a real dog :( ) humans can be so cruel, I am going to rescue dogs when I can afford it, at least I can make a difference in some lives.

But the actual video (not regarding content) is beautifully put together, it's unique and what and amazing idea, really I can't fault it.

Anyone who says this is one of the best animations ever is absolutely fucking ridiculous.

The creator simply used mildly shocking/disturbing material and a theme that would obviously spark strong emotions in the majority of people to hide his shoddy workmanship and give the illusion of something half decent.

Good points, however from a simple and artistic mind as myself, I found it to be very beautiful, understandably sad and depressing. It did capture a lot of what dogs (or maybe pets in general) could or might be going through in society. We take an animal of the wild, domesticate it, only to hinder its growth and evolution and impose on the animal sick acts and/or personal fetishes. I cant say this is solely animal related as most of these things happens to people everyday. A great short for me.

This was a very interesting watch. The style seemed very original and the addition of flipbook after flipbook I thought was really neat. Too bad it didn't have a good ending, but even that draws out some of its originality. Very dark, makes you feel a little uncomfortable watching it but it seems that's what it's purpose was...
