I love the singing and I was raised in a Russian Molokan Church in Los Angeles, California. My grandparents escaped Russia because of religious persecution. My maternal grandfather told me many stories of those days and they were brutal. The Molokans who are still in the Los Angeles area have 4 churches in that area and one in San Francisco. I left that church when I was 22 years old because they no longer followed scripture and preachers were chosen by popularity not by God.

You are actually incorrect. The Molokans who left Russia....in the late 19th century and early 20th century were actually told to escape by a prophet boy through the Holy Spirit. Maybe you should do a little more research on a subject before making untrue statements.
