Of course. I was speaking in general not in the specific. This does not change the fact that the simple act of riding a bike on the side walk was escalated to what happens in this video primarily because the cop escalates it to that. Like any other profession, cops are not all good or bad. They just have a much higher percentage of bullies. Bullies(to me) are just a small step above pedophiles. Like I said before, the officer made the simple stop. The female was the one that escalated it because she would not get off the bike and would not listen to the officers. If she got off of the bike like I am guessing the officer told her to and she knew her rights. They would have talked for 5 minutes and the officer would have no choice to let her go but instead she wants to disobey and fight.

Illegal (period) There was no indication of the officer arresting her until she assaulted him. All he was trying to get until she assaulted him was her cooperation. I used to know a cop who bragged about all the women he would pull over and threaten to arrest for nothing until they would succumb to hopping in the backseat with him to avoid getting arrested. Firstly, the person on the bike refused to stop as requested.
She obviously heard the request and asked why as the cop went on to answer "because you're riding your bike on the sidewalk".
Then it is the woman who sprays the cop.
Neither of his arms is in a position to spray her and as he pulls away and then comes back to grab her you can see he has nothing in his hands and didn't drop anything.

Since when is it a crime to ride a bicycle on a sidewalk? Her first mistake was attempting to continue on her way once the encounter began.
I didn't notice any lights on the bike so riding the sidewalk would be the safest place for her when its dark.
There was no crime until a bored cop decided to harass someone. She's just lucky there is video. Cops lie. And most places are pulling the video cameras out of patrol cars since the officers testimony often differs from the video.

Like I said before, the officer made the simple stop. The female was the one that escalated it because she would not get off the bike and would not listen to the officers. If she got off of the bike like I am guessing the officer told her to and she knew her rights. Illegal (period) There was no indication of the officer arresting her until she assaulted him. All he was trying to get until she assaulted him was her cooperation. I was riding my bike on the pavement and a police officer stopped me, I told him I feel safer riding on the pavement as the cars go like above the speed limit of 30mph and if you get hit the chances of you surviving are slim. He gave me a verbal warning but this cop is OTT. (Over The Top)
