This problem is caused by YOU and can be solved by YOU. STOP buying goods from China. For the makers information many Couriers in the UK work a regular 16 hour day, and pay is not so good either.
We call it the silent machine. We can’t hear them; we can’t see them when we buy a new pair of shoes. We don’t always know that they are there. But we need to listen better!
Funny how we can sit here and watch this but we cannot even comprehend the idea of forming an organization which opposes corporations. We are citizens and have the right, and power to demand corporations shut down the slave labor camps. At the very least we can demand they supply their overseas workers with a SUFFICIENT (not by their standards, which is dirt) standard of living, and providing all the necessities and basic human rights. Is it so much to ask that we stand up to this force?
supply and demand. the supply of labor in China is too high, thus the pay is too low. This is the price you pay for overpopulation. Same thing in India.
the 37% figure is very misleading. In China there are a lot of teenagers helping managing family stores and etc, and they are counted towards child labor. It is almost saying that bake sale in high school is child labor.
The actual number is much lower, and the laws are pretty strict on this matter.
Thanks for the message. This is really sad. I am from now on, going to be more conscious of where things are made before I buy . Sad to think how many chinese children may be dreaming or wishing whilst they work that they too could own a "mickey mouse". Just ridiculous.
I really like the clip at the beginning. It was very attention grabbing to see Mickey being made by children, and the video was very impactul (rather than being pictures of the same thing). I really like your creative title and the music is very fitting.
Plus, a great use of numbers to make people remember just how big the issue is.

Great creative title. Good questions and facts. Great introduction, made me want to watch on. Good job.

hey.
really effective introduction and i LOVE your song.
however, you might might want to include less pictures of toddlers and more kids that would be working in the factories.

good clip at the beginning, good music
some of the pictures were unrelated...the kids obviously weren't being used as child laborers.
I like the question approach though...
overall, very good

Very powerful Title:)
Good use of questions instead of direct facts and the pictures of the kids really evoked sympathy!
Would be better if you could add more hard facts and more pictures of kids actually working in the factories.
