Jesus was a jew, christianity was founded by men like Paul of Tarsus and others like pagan roman emperor Constantine with his decisions at the council of nicaea in 325.
I'd actually say it wasn't Paul. Paul was trying to keep us Jewish. Our modern interpretation of Paul's words (based largely on Martin Luther's interpretation) would suggest Paul founded Christianity but I'm not so sure.
You are wrong. It was Paul who said to "his" new converts that they dont have to care about jewish commandments like e.g. circumcision and kosher as long as they believe in Jesus, the rest is unimportant. He literally called them "Dirt". HERE BEGINS CHRISTIANITY ! Because of his unorthodox teachings he got in big trouble with the brother of Jesus, St. James and his followers. He nearly got lynched by them until he sought refuge at the roman soldiers saying that he was a roman citizen.
