Do you think Rudman will do Junior Gorg & Richard's other characters in the Fraggle Rock movie? I know when he does Baby Bear he does the same "accent", but I can't see Baby Bear's voice sunk to Junior's.
You do make a good point about Richard's great characters' dissapperance, Garrettk41. Who do you think would perform the rest of Richard's Sesame characters if they came back? Besides Gladys, 'cause she's been seen a few times.
It's real hard to say. Perhaps David Rudman. He's done a handful of Hunt's characters. Though the truth is, I kind of think it's just as well that the characters are gone since I highly doubt they'd be given such great material to work with, considering the way the whole show (in my opinion anyway) has taken a huge fall in favor of political correctness.
I think to save the puppeteer trouble, the result that Mr. Honker should've brought in for the horse should've been Marshal Grover & Fred. Then Richard wouldn't have worried about performing Forgetful AND Gladys at the same time.
Well, for some reason, secondary characters on Sesame Street tended not to appear in specials and movies. The Muppet Show was better at including all characters in projects like that.
And the Honker could be performed here by anyone- Frank, Jerry, Kevin, we have no way of knowing.
Neither can I. Meantime though, this will suffice. Thanks, Grover (you don't mind if I call you that, do you?). But didn't you say you didn't have this clip?
One of the most un-understandable muppets on a game show. The Honkers are best paired with Beaker clones.

No prize for the Honker?

This honker has been performed by Kathryn Mullen. Do you suppose she's doing so here?

"If you can name our three sounds, you will be very, very happy and proud of yourself."
Woop-de-doo, Guy. How about a prize?

Who do you actually think is the best voice for Scooter after Richard's passing?
ZNKChannel 1 year ago
Well, I guess I'd go with Adam Hunt, Richard's younger brother, who spoke his one line in "Muppets From Space". David Rudman would come in second.

Just goes to show you how talented Richard was. Sesame Street just doesn't have the same kind of bite without him.

I think it'd be cool to communicate in Honker language!

Anyone know if Mr. Honker is performed by Tim Gosley?
Garrettk41 2 years ago
I would doubt it, he never performed on Sesame other than Follow That Bird.

Yes, that appears to be true, now that I look it up. I guess we'll never know the Honker performer for sure.
Garrettk41 2 years ago
And I don't understand why Guy Smiley did not appear Follow That Bird.

Actually I heard this is from 1983 or 1984.
