  • I AM SO DOWN...i got rejected by grad school today :(....

  • Hun, don't feel too bad about it. If anything, apply more places. You don't have to go to ONE university for Grad School. You can try applying to many other places which will, for sure, accept you. There's a school for everyone, you know? I know this reply is pretty late, and you might already be in school, or already have a job, but it's never too late to start school again at another place. :)

  • dang whats with all the perverts on here following your every move......come to think of it why am i here........oh right i was watching smoke tricks and stuff then found your channel.....anyway just be glad your alive man it doesn't matter what you accomplish in life we all end up dieing and i would be glad living in a tent without any money as long as i was alive and you know what if i did die i would be ok with it just because of how much i enjoyed this plane of existence

  • @MrDv23 so tonight go outside right before the sun sets grab a smoke and just watch the sun go down. think of everyone else around the globe right now watching the same sun set all of you alive all of you going through the same experience right now all is perfect no matter whats going on whether war or peace, just live in that moment for as long as you can. and from then on you should live your life in the moment your in dont think about the past or the future just be glad your alive right now

  • Hello Eugenia.

Don't be in too much of a hurry to join the work world. What about going to Japan as you were planning to and be with J.? With your liberal arts education, you could teach English overseas and see the world while finding yourself!

  • Go to teachers college, then apply to become a teacher.

  • Thought about internships with companies you would not mind working for? Or part-time jobs. Overseas jobs?

  • Maybe you can take graduate level classes without being officially accepted into a program. Study hard, do well and get to know the professors ( for references) to apply again next year. Talk to an adviser to see what options you have. College grads are reluctant to find work right now so many are continuing on to grad school. Thus alot of competition. Good luck.

  • at least you applied....

  • Not about any of us. About you. A few questions lead to more: What would make you happy in your life, Eugenia? What did you want to get out of undergrad school? What did you want to get out of grad school? Why did you take what you did in courses? Can you see some pattern in all of this? This is just a start. The first questions are very, very important. Take your time with them. Don't ignore them. If you want to share with us, please do. You matter to all of us.

  • If you lived in Oklahoma you could always just cook meth, JK sd

  • Hang in there hun! One rejection doesn't have to be the end, I went to vet school and was surprised to find many of my classmates had tried 2, 3, or 4 times before getting in. If you have your heart set on grad school, u can always take a menial job to pay the bills for a year and try again. What kind of grad school were u applying to? Well, good luck with everything, keep ur head high!

  • Sorry for your situation. For most people, including myself, the road to success is never a simple straight path. Hang tough!

  • never went to college. i have a job. the pay sucks but its a job. You can get a job but if your looking for a good paying one then you might have to look harder then usual. I mean, its tough nowadays. But if your worried about a job in general chances are with any after high school education, youll find one.

  • Sorry to hear your news - but it really isn't the end of the world!

  • I'm starting a cult. Wanna be the second in command?

  • life is never easy. but when you're at bottom of pit, there is only one way to go. and that is up. so hang in there, hope you find a job soon.

    *hugs*

  • You rock. You are cared about by many. Do not forget that.

  • Hey Eugenia! It's Ashley W. and I'm about to graduate, too! I had no idea what I wanted to do or where I wanted to go, but I've finally decided. Anyway - Have you thought about finding a paid internship? Maybe overseas? What did you get your degree in? What do you want to do? Remember, a lot of people freak out when they graduate, but you're young and not tied down to anything so explore (god, I sound so...HA). You're very creative. I could see you with your own business someday!

  • dont worry. I just got rejected from the top 5 of the 10 colleges I applied, yet I think I might be more fit for the places which I was accepted (than the ones which rejected me). Btw, what subject did you major in? Certain fields (such as accounting) will accept those with just a bachelors.

  • The transition from school to the workforce is always the hardest.

You never know what's going to happen. Good luck.

  • Of course you're talented. Be confident in yourself... you may not always get where you think you want to be but your confidence will propel in you. You'll figure it all out in time. Think about what you might be interested in and try it all. Best of luck. I'm also curious if you're on twitter... find me if you are @athenastamos

  • when i saw the still frame for the vid i thought you were crying, i'm glad to see that you're not.

i honestly recommend finding a job, growing to hate it with a passion within 6 months and using that as a strong impetus to fling you back towards grad school with a passion(and hopefully a more firm direction).

    good luck.

  • You know I dropped out of the first graduate program I enrolled into cuz I decided to go into a different field. I would have saved a lot of money if I had taken some time off I have no idea what you mean by a "really good GPA" BUT if it is what you say it is then if you find a program in the future that really really interests you, you will find a way to get it in. Best of Luck.

  • What is it you want to do? What kind of stuff do you enjoy doing -- writing, paperwork, sales, customer service, research, etc.? Give us some feedback. Maybe something in video production or editing?
