@matrox In this game (By default) when your in any inside view you can't see anyone, but this is a modded cockpit (This plane isn't flyable by default) you can only see some people.
@shutup735 they cant in the B-17's if the plane had to do a landing with the gear still up all the gunners at the bottem of the plane knew there deaths were comming. Good to know.
@shutup735 no...if you were a ball gunner it was a deathtrap as sometimes the doors didn't open so they'd have to sit there for long periods of time if they got unlucky
@supercrapnstuff11 they didn't carry parachutes either so the plane would have to pull out its gear and try to land like that or let the ballgunner die

2. the Ballgunner... Couldn't get into the fuseladge? Damn sometimes American aircraft make me go "=O AWESOME" and sometimes "Wow that's fuckin' retarded..."
@shutup735 Ok, I've tried and I've tried and I've tried over and over and over again, but I just can't seem to get the game to accept the mod. Is there any way that you might be able to help me? And is there any way you can put steps of putting the mod in, just in case I screwed something up?
@DJsharp707 I had 4 fucking planes on my tail, Barely any elevator control.... and you dont flair in a backwords tricicle gear aircraft, you land on the two main wheels, slow down, and when the rear wheel hits the ground, apply brakes.
And i did try to flair up, but its a big plane...
And it was a crash landing, had no ailerons, and my flaps broke.. AND I LIVED DIDNT I??? any survivable landing, is a good landing.
@DJsharp707 dude lay off, i'd love to see you do that with 4 Zero's on your tail, no flaps, engine two is heavily damaged and shutting down, next to no hydrolics, and an airframe that drags you down when you try to gain alttitude, i can't even do that in a B-25.
I get shot down ALL the time... i even out smarted zero pilots ONLINE while i was in my B-17, I took the gunner, And shot down 1 of the 3 zeros, I flew under a bridge, and lowered my speed, they flew far ahead of me, and my friend online flew over my head flying an F6f and shot the zeros down :P I'm just saying that, cuz, i dont think DJsharp ever did it :P
@shutup735 i do too, but only when i'm in a bomber. except the B-29 i can survive in that... barely. i'd just love to see DJ cash land a B-29 with 1 missing engine, left stabilizer missing, rudder missing, right aileron missing, two is on fire, four shut down, and one is in risk of failing. I'm a hell of a pilot but i've only done that ONCE and i wish i recorded it.

There were 5 guys chasing me in zero's, Then i realized i was flying the B-29 Silverplate and i had a Fatman nuke, I had lost left elevator, Right aileron, and all flaps, My engines were fine, so i picked up speed 2 about 400 Mp/h, I dropped my nuke, it had a 10 second fuse... It skipped... Then, i saw the splash, i kept going low to the water... The nuke went off, destroyed all the zero's, and ripped off my tail. But the plane flew for another KM.

@DJsharp707 how do we fail? the only person i see failing is you. you trypicking battles that you always loose, your just like this british prick always bashing the germans over something that happened 70+ years ago. I doubt that YOU even have IL-2: 1946 because the cannons of the Lightnings would have torn your hydrolics to nothing and the 109 would have finished you off. and if it were online the bf would have an mk108 so you wouls have been screwed. no point in lying to the obvious. you lose.
@WiredrawnMurder45 I have the game. and when i'm online I know what i'm doing, if ur good at flying a type of plane (In this case B-19/17) you can do better stuff with it, the reason i barely took damage from cannons is, Cannons are slow, and inacurate, i can use that to my advantage, in rare ocastions i can dodge shells, and in more popular ocations i can twist to make the cannon hit something useless. Plus, i fly under bridges, 10 feet above the ground, Anything to stop them from shooting me.
@shutup735 Actually it is as simple as assigning a key to turn the labels off, I don't blame you for having them on, one day you will get enough experience to try em without the labels, it's a whole new ballgame then!!
