People that say everything after the Black Album sucks is an idiot. They are one of the best bands out there because they were able to grow and survive the 80's without having to play the same 80's metal sound like Megadeth and all those other out-dated bands do. Load and Reload were two of the best rock records of the entire 90's decade. Even at their worst they are better than any band out today.

The SNARE sounds horrible on this album. Whoever produced it isn't that good. The HI-HAT sounds over-compressed at times, too. For the biggest metal band in history, I expected to hear a million dollar recording. It's still good, but come on... this is Metallica.

I love Metallica and I like this album but it is probably their worst. The songs are too long and for the most part are the same the whole way through with no solos. The production is weak too. I know they were going for the whole garage band sound, but with Metallic I've come to expect top notch crystal clear production since the Black Album. The clipping in Death Magnetic aggravates me too.

Personally listening to this song strikes me harder than most of their songs. It may be a different style, but what makes a great musician is consistently being able to play "different" styles, which Metallica definitely achieved throughout the course of their history
