@Renulph in terms of hours i put in i would guess at least 24, though probably a lot more. i'm very slow at writing :( i worked on it during november last year, july and august this year.
it's not so much the complexity that takes the time to be honest. in fact, it's all pretty simple when you break it down. what takes me the time is coming up with the good ideas to begin with.
I used to make stepcharts all the time (hi FFR) and man, this kind of music is MADE for the keyboard charts crowd. Lots of stuff going on with fast, unique rhythms! And plus it's actually great to listen to, which puts it apart from the masses of horrid metal songs that get stepped just because their drummers play 7 trillion bpm bass drums...
Your songs have three really attractive things for people making stepfiles- Non-fluctuating BPMs (i.e. not live performed music that's impossible to get perfectly synced), interesting rhythms with lots of layers of different sounds, and of course lots of fast stuff which allows the file to be really hard without being totally silly (stepping every sound in chiptune arpeggios is a favorite)
As someone who loves making stepfiles to your songs I say, more please :D
@hi19hi19 good to know! if you need any more songs to step there's various others on my channel/website that haven't been done yet. i guess serial gazer of super soaker would work pretty well. but i'm sure to make more similar songs in future.

Reminds me of Diddy Kong Racing at moments.

Well, the chart for this song and Mathsma Attack (made by aperson and kommisar respectively) recently went into FFR, and I can see why.
