Fred Thompson is now on the record as saying that he will SLASH Social Security to those currently on it. People are already having to make the hard choices between food, rent, and medicine with what little Social Security they get each month, and now this Hillbilly Frankenstein wants to suffocate them even MORE by cutting it back further. I can't believe anyone can be so inhumane to those who are already helpless, and I can't believe how inhumane people can be by supporting this abomination!

We either slash spending SOMEWHERE, or do nothing and watch T-Bills be worth less than the paper printed on them, The Fed goes bankrupt, we watch the dollar slide horribly against the Euro & Yen, and then we all can't afford even anything at wall-mart.
