Also that model kit... WOW, what a huge undertaking that would be. Plenty of fun to be had for hours.. fun or frustration.

The Yamato looks awesome. I have the original and will definitely be getting it ASAP. Just need to find the room for this beast. Probably somewhere with my Akagi and Kaga in this scale.

So the difference between the new Yamato and the one currently available are just the upgraded main turrets and the photo etch parts?

@miyoshi82 Oooooh no, no, no! This new Yamato kit is an all-new tooling, using NOTHING from the old kit! The detail and accuracy is light years ahead of the old kit (which wasn't bad at all). I repeat: all new, and all COOL!
