Thank you Mr. Desplat for bringing Dumbledore's theme in the 7th film! It's a beautiful a melody and he put it in the perfect spot too. I'm crying... :'(
the flute's tune at 0:44....OMG :(((( Its so...innocent. It makes me think of when Sev was a boy, before any of the horrible things happened to him.....;_;
the soundtrack of the entire series is one to rival the lord of the ring triology soundtrack and thats all three films. you decide. give alandre desplat a oscar for such good work. he deserves it.
I was so angry that they didn't include "Dumbledore's Farewell" on the soundtrack. God bless you for editing it in! I'm totally sobbing right now and I don't even care, it's such a powerful bit of music.
Thank you for this. I can't believe the album version didn't include all of the music in the one song, it's such powerful music combined. The tears were flowing freely in the cinema.

This scene teaches the importance of not judging till you hear the full story.

Reminds me so much of Monte Cristo

@RevRai
Ha, indeed =)
It reminds me of that story as well.
I think the only difference was that the woman in Monte Cristo still loved her imprisoned man,
but she knew it was an impossible love. Lily's relationship with Severus changed, but in a bad way =(

Did you edit the dumbledore's farewell at the end or is this the actual track?
SplashStarProduction 7 months ago
@SplashStarProduction in the movie they add it after Severus and Lily during the flashback sequence.

I actually edited it, by watching the Pensieve Scene =)
So it's actually the same as you see in the movie.
