Stop by Portland, Oregon. Shane Molinari's 68' LeMans with a Pontiac Kaufman Racing built 601 cu. in monster. He does use the Edelbrock heads. Runs high 7's at 170, give or take 2 MPH. There's a lot of great cars out there. I have a soft spot for Pontiacs. With the after market being what it is, a Pontiac can be built to run with anybody. Just be prepared with some cash!

@barcrrt yea my buddies got $8500 in his 461 pontiac stroker this time around and he still aint got out of the 12's with it, he is still runnin cast iron heads and he needs to do some work where it will bite the earth, everybody has told him to backhalf his car, he has a 74 Firebird with a 72 front end, I know u aint liein about being prepared to spend some cash on a pontiac, I've seen the videos of that 68 LeMans it is bad.

@countryman1970 How is a 461 a stroker? Sounds like a .030 over 455 to me....Only way it "could" be a stroker is if it's a small main 400 block with a 455 crank.....Then to me, it's a small main 455.
