  • Why sniff ammonia? Why knee wraps?Did not stand the spotters did assist him to raise the bar.

  • @lburdeos464 I'll pray for you.

  • @Actuallityy "Actuallityy" more like Vapidity and extreme emptiness of the cognoscienti

  • @lburdeos464 I was high when I made this account I didn't even know it was a word.

  • @Actuallityy Vaccuousness

  • half a fucking car

  • Looks like he snorted some coke at 0:39 to lift 1100 lbs. lol

  • @daftvexxx its ammonia

  • @daftvexxx He sniffs ammonia to psych him up. Lots of high level lifters do it.

  • Wow, impressive.. at the end it seems like he is gonna faint..

  • Awesome lift from an awesome lifter. What ever happened to Big Steve? Kinda disappeared after that lift. Ashame. He never failed to impress.

  • Did he sniff some smelling salts right beforehand?

  • that is awesome he even went below parallel and didn't have that wide of a stance. that is a great squat. I got to admit i thought the bar was going to go over his head when his upper body fell down that low. if he kept his head up it would have been easier. great job

  • OH GOOD GAWD

  • im surpirsed he even got that fuckin bar off the rack

  • For those debating his fitness, it's called absolute strength vs. relative strength vs. endurance. This guy is a beast with absolute strength. There is a reason he does not train like David Goggins and vice versus. To be the best in one area, you have to take from the others. Go train for a marathon and see how that helps your 1RM, LOL.

  • this is the guy from Cypress Hill right.

  • @Cashing23 Who you tryin'ta get crazy with ese? Don't you know I'm loco?

  • @obscureluzername vatos locos 4eva homes

  • hoe bad does this gootas be on your joints and spine

  • wow...awesome!

  • id rather not have all that body fat

  • @SjakethesnakeS try listening to the announcer...he clearly says it's 1102 pounds. The plates are probably 100 lb plates, not the standard 45 lb like you find in a commercial gym.

  • If this guy got his legs around your head do you think he could actually crush your skull?

  • Is he by any chance related to David Goggins the Ultra endurance sports athlete ?

  • @dudestube prolly not man

  • is he related to dave goggins?

  • bet this guy couldn't run half a mile. But, every athlete has his forte' and we should all respect that. Ronnie has a great physique, and this guy is strong as hell

  • why would he ever need to run half a mile?

  • im not saying he is or has to im saying that he probably gets winded from walking up a flight of stairs or doing a normal slightly strenuous activity. Just a big hunk of muscle. No endurance or flexibility

  • d actually be surprised about how flexible powerlifters can be..my friend is about 260 or so..great lifter an he is more flexable then alot of skinnier less bulky athletes.

  • yeah he might get winded from walking up a flight of stairs, I guess as a competitive powerlifter myself.....who cares? I would much rather have an 1102 squat then fly up a bunch of stairs. Its generally one or the other, there's very few out there who have it all

  • actually to get there forms down these guys have to be extremely flexible

  • Comment removed

  • @BlakeC94 Being stronger does not mean lifting easy weights gets harder. Lifting his mass alone, up a flight of stairs, would be absolutely nothing. Why would it tire him out? His heart is far far stronger than the average person, so again, why?

  • @Ehal256 his heart is stronger but their is a difference between what he does & cardiovascular endurance. different strains on the body. completley different ways of training.

  • @BlakeC94 its still ridiculous to say he can't climb stairs. Getting strong in one area does not make you weaker in another. He should be able to climb stairs at least as well as any average person.

  • @Ehal256 i was being partly sarcastic. i thought it was easy to tell. and yes he probably can just like any average person. but trust me, powerlifters, bodybuilders, boxers, football players, etc. they are all different from one another. different amounts of endurance, strength, agility, flexibility, etc.

  • @BlakeC94 true, and i didnt notice the sarcasm.

  • @BlakeC94 fuck tell us something we don't know...

  • tigers

  • why would he ever need to lift 1102?

  • @tarunramesh what if he's trapped under a car that weighs 1102lbs? and he just got back from lifting weights so he has his suit, wraps and belt on? and the weight is conveniently placed on his traps? he'd be a step ahead of everybody...

  • @tarunramesh why would you ever try to be the best at your sport ? that is why...

  • man that bar was about to snap. not safe

  • that bar's rated for more than that.

  • @ObamaTheRealLoser Standard bar in a gym is rated at about 1000 lb capacity (although some are only 700). The bars used for power lifting usually are rated at 1500 lbs.

  • i feel my lumbar exploding just watching the video.

  • Awesome lift here. Do a quick utube search for SQUATPRECISION. This develops your absolute maximum pound, legal depth, one rep max squat.

  • Pretty amazing lift!

  • I saw SG some years ago at Carl's Steak House (Sizzler) in Bedford Texas on Pipeline Road. I didn't have a long look, but I was impressed. Another time there was a cop there who someone said was a seven footer, maybe, but SG was more impressive. What would really impress me is if he'd do a butt to ankles front squat with that load, but it will never ever come close to happening. Anyone else remember when PL used a curl vs a deadlift? Well the total went up with DL's and that's the goal.

  • whoever started talking about ronnie coleman i this deserves to be hit by a bus. A slow bus but never the less. Your a megadouchatron

  • why are people comparing a bodybuilder to a powerlifter ?? two differnt sports

  • @SMOKERSWORLD wrong bodybuilding isnt a sport!!!!

  • @SMOKERSWORLD Powerlifting is a sport, bodybuilding is a lifestyle

  • @SMOKERSWORLD sports?

  • Squatting 800 for a double puts your max nowhere near this, close stance or not.

  • theyre both freaks - they just train and eat differently...im terrifed of both of them

  • So you should be! Ronnie could eat your ass over the course of a single day, in 6-8 meals, and Goggins could break your ass in half and toss you 100 metres away.

    lol

  • yea hes sniffing nose torque... yea it basically gives u a diesel adrenaline rush

  • did he sniff cocaine 37 seconds

  • haha, no...i forget what its called but powerlifters will sniff this aroma that gets them jacked up.

  • Powerlifters sniff ammonia from crushed tablets or bottles, also known as nose torque, it pumps you with adrenaline but if you sniff too much you want to pass out lol!

  • All right. Now, let's see him run a mile.

  • He doesn't have to run a mile. He could squat a whole mile on his back!

  • why.... who cares

  • I heard your mom cares

  • good lord...he got low. Amazing........

  • He got deep...that's all I can say.

  • Why are you all saying this was a bad squat when he was lifting 1,102 pounds? It doesn't matter how pretty it is. Getting that thing on his back and not falling on his ass breaking every single bone in his body in the process, was impressive enough for me let alone squatting it.

  • @junkyjuice21 Well, for one, he does not even have to step back from the rack, like Kirk Kawoski for example. Check Kirk's lift. Kirk even stands up all the way. There is no comparison between the quality of these two performances. This is impressive, yes, but rules are rules, and lifts are either successful lifts are not successful lifts, based on those rules.

  • was this like the first ever 500 kg "squat"?

  • Yes it was. I think he weighed in at about 265 for the contest as well. Great lift.

  • He was not parallel... You go by the crease in the hip not by tour thighs. He is strong but join the USAPL where you can only have single ply suits/shirts (no multi-ply,denim or open back), you have to walk the weight out of the rack and I want to see someone squat 1000+ like that.

  • you mean like kirk karwoski? search for his 1000x2 video.

  • yea and those guys use bounce to get their squats up. and they still couldnt squat this much with 3 ply

  • yea niggas dats my uncle he tha fuckin man fuck dem hatas unk lol

  • sorry they dont look like abercrombie models...I guess it makes it hard for you to jerk off to these big meat heads.

  • fuckin strong!

  • dammm that bar bent a shitload

  • goggins is da man !

  • I think in the end he yells "WHO LOVES JUICE!? I SURE DO!

  • oh deer oh deer oh deer.... depth???? debatable, jolt on way up..... and how the hell did he get up?????????

  • um, his leg muscles.

  • damn damn damn that was a squat??? really

  • His thigs were parralell?

  • steve is a legend

  • Me steve goggins went through basic traing together in 1983 at Ft. Dix. I remeber working out with him and aguy named skibba. Steve was an well manered guy but in the gym became a focused annimal...Steve if you read this would like to hear from you man. D-4-3

  • nice gut

  • This video show how should not do squat...but his back must be iron...

  • wow

    thats big

  • AHH! MY BACK!!

  • that was a real low squat, but my back was hurting watching this vid

  • ronnie coleman is the beast ! ! ! y no este negro gordo come salchichas ! ! ! LoL

  • Ronnie Coleman is the beast? Goggins squatted 300lbs more than the Coleman video, at about 50lbs less and with the same gear Ronnie uses. How is Ronnie a beast?

  • Ronnie is in much better shape, he did it twice, and his legs were closer together, also ronnie would not be winded after running for 3 minutes, and by the looks of this guy, i think he would.

  • Ok. Ronnie works for good looking muscles, this guy works for strength. Personally, people who are fucking strong are big and strong are beasts, not those who walk around flexing.

  • Well Ronnie would be the exception, since his weights are pretty close, a lot of body builders are only for show, but not ronnie, cause he's crazy strong for one.

  • please....they both juice and this guy just put 1100 lbs on his back. they're both in horrible shape

  • terrible shape? Do you realize the kind of diet ronnie sticks to? Also his body is in much better condition, his cardio is much better, and this guy's is probably non-existent, and ronnie is much more flexible, that doesn't sound like bad shape to me.

  • What about his shoulder, leg, hip, neck, elbow and back problems? I refer to a body with those problems as "In much better condition". And LOL @ Ronnies Cardio.

  • I have to agree, your an idiot, ronnie coleman is in much better shape then this guy

  • Please explain the logic of your opinion. Ronnie is riddled with scar tissue and joint problems as well as has enlarged internals. He also requires regular joint manipulation to help his trapped nerves and skeletomuscular cramping. Far as I know, this chap suffers from none of those problems to anywhere near that degree. So again, please explain your logic.

  • he did 800 twice with his legs closer together, not saying he's stronger, but he's close to as strong

  • lol, Ronnie is just a Freak of Steroids.

  • wow. i love those ammonia salts too.

  • I saw that judge last week!

  • it helps to clear the head

  • too high.

  • not too high, perfect paralell that's why he got the three green lights. powerlifters hate it when it's too high.

  • perfect parallel it's to high.

  • it would be 3 reds in a real federation!

  • Which real fed would that be?

  • You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. WPO did have some high squatters, but Goggins was not one of them.

  • Try white!

  • take that back, its just an ammonia cap

  • sniffing ammonia, swallowing cheque drops

  • LOL wtf was he sniffing and putting in his mouth

  • chalk i think

  • no, he's sniffing amonia tabs
