I've read the first HON book and couldn't read past it. I really didn't like it, almost hated. That's only because I hated the main characters so much. The whole idea/premise of the book was really good, but not good enough for me to want to read on. Sorry. Maybe I'll re-visit it one day and will be able to read it and enjoy it

@FlamingTaco1479 Well, like you I do enjoy Twilight. But my favorite characters are Jasper and Leah (in a very NON-shipper way, just letting you know). I also like the Harry Potter series and Vampire Diaries. I also like Vampire Kisses (though I can't find the 3rd book not combined with the 1st 2 books for the life of me, ugh).

I think I might revisit HON now that I think about it, though. I might enjoy it now if for no other reason then for a change of vampire scenery!

@missgomez190 Well, I decided to re-visit the books. However, I decided to check out the audio books of the 2nd and 3rd books cuz I'm a slow reader and between school and work I don't want to end up taking a month reading it. So far, I'm not as annoyed with it as I was before (though I still find Zoey whiney at times).

@missgomez190 Yea, Bella wasn't my favorite character in Twilight. Honestly, niether was Jacob and Edward. Jasper, Leah, Embry, and Quil were my favorite.

What I mean by whiney is that Zoey actually whines often where it annoys me so much. She's like "I only use a tiny amount of eyeliner cuz, OMG, I don't like that racoon eye look" or when she's talking about Damien & how "he's so totally not like those other flutter gay guys" or whatever. I just wanna smack her & tell her 2 get over herself

i think the best books would be hmm..... i would say untamed , betrayed , and hunted O_O. i think untamed is good because they run away from freaking kalona! betrayed is sad as hell because stevie dies D:!!!!!!!! hunted is really great because erik and zoey gets back together! ya! woot o_o . and the interesting part is when zoey gets attacked by the raven mocker by accident. o_o ugh!!!!

the only thing i don't like about the house of night books is zoe's boyfriends-they're all whining, needy, complaining, possessive losers. if one of my little nieces was hanging out with guys like that i'd get upset and ask her what the hell she's thinking.

I have read all the twilight series including midnight sun and have also read all the house of night series and I deff agree with you ,there is no way to choose which is better but out of Bella Swan and Zoey redbird my favourite main character would be Bella because she is selfless and makes the right choices unlike Zoey who cant make up her mind which guy she wants and that sometimes pisses me off Eric,Stark,Heath and probably Kalona when Tempted comes out but I do still LOVE the house of night

House of Night is a awesome series. They are planning to make a movie and the next book "Tempted" comes out Oct. 27, 2009. (Book 6 of 9).
