Well he's the most qualified candidate in either party and has the best plans for Iraq and Global Warming. He has my vote. As for New Mexicans hating him... he was re-elected with 69% of the vote, the highest in New Mexico's history, including 40% of the Republican vote. Go Bill Richardson!

I'm a Democrat, and I like Richardson's credentials. He's flubbed a few times, particularly his recent flub on Logo about homosexuality, but it doesn't do much to override his likability and impressive resume (Secretary of Energy, UN Ambassador, nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize). With every candidate, you'd probably have to sacrifice some kind of morals since there are barely any candidates you can 100% agree with, and I'm prepared to do that with Richardson.

Richardson has an incredibly strong resumé with foreign affairs and is very popular in New Mexico, and to think that he'd turn us 3rd world, or that ANYONE from either party would turn us 3rd world like that, is paranoid and absurd. He's not popular with Americans but very supportive of NAU/SPP. I suppose you didn't catch the THIRD meeting of Canada, Mexico and the US last week in Canada.  Bush tells the sheeple that NAU is a conspiracy and Calderon goes on to say he feels that the unification of the North American continent is good for all the businessmen involved. As he let's the cat out of the bag, all the lame stream media cuts to the Space shuttle...yeah, I'm totally paranoid. It's a government website, FGS.

Americans barely know him; there is no significant disapproval rating. He is, however, very popular in New Mexico and has supported some great things, for Democrats especially. He has great foreign policy experience and was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize four times. There is nothing there that shows he's "giving us up" to Mexicans; it's simply paranoia, the usual kind you see from political youtubers.

He won his term of governor by one of the largest margins in NM's history; the people you know aren't indicative of his popularity there. The rest have nothing to do with "handing us over" to Mexico, and some are untrue. He declared a State of Emergency for the border of NM and also wants to reduce that immigration. It's straight from Ontheissues DOT Org. Yes, you are paranoid, and you've resorted to straw mans to try to derail him.

I'm not doing anything of the kind...I don't KNOW him, like I said...but he IS for amnesty, tax increase and universal health care, per his own admission. He is the most pro illegal of the lot, as well.

Pro-amnesty does not equal handing us over to Mexicans, especially when you consider how much more revenue the gov't can get if these people are taxed for being here. Pro universal health care does not equal being 3rd world. Canada is not 3rd world. Europe is not 3rd world. Richardson was Sec. of Energy. That's the department that manages nuclear weapons. Wouldn't it be nice if when we negotiate with Iran and North Korea, the president actually knows something about nuclear weapons. It matters. there's a big difference between the two types, plutonium and U-235. Going the U-235 route, like Iran, they can only get, at most, a few bombs. Plutonium can be made by the ton. Meanwhile G W Bush can't even say `nuclear weapon' -- it always comes out ``NUCULAR''.
