  • The Andromeda Galaxy is on course to collide with the Milky Way in 2 billion years. So yes, every Moon and Mars has to be terraformed. Above ground cities and underground shelters will have to be in place. It will be like playing pool on a cosmic scale. Everything will change, and Earth may not remain in the Solar System. Lots of scenarios could unfold.

  • One of the arguments against terraforming is the possible destruction of microbial life that could indicate if somehow mars or earth seeded the other or if life different to ours evolved there, showing life can be quite unique and different than what we know it can be today. However, I feel the terraforming process is so long it would give scientists plenty of time to search for life. If you don't find it within the hundreds of years of terraform mars, then chances are, its not there.

  • Terra forming Mars would be great, unfortunately i doubt it will happen with in our life times!
