  • badass. seriously underrated band

  • @jconstant1 i belive you're refering to conteporary christian music wich has nothing wrong with it, and i enjoy it myself. but this genre is definately groundbreaking in a field of worship. reaching out to new styles and groups of people. God is working in many ways.

  • spirit 1053 i have a request!!!

  • sounds like old school Manson

  • Love the vocals. Virginia Creeper is another dope Christian band that breaks Christian sterotypes.

  • reminds me a little of marilyn manson

  • @6bpanorama WAS ABOUT TO SAY THE SAME THING!!!

  • Schwab even said in his book that Although the band is a christian band they did not want to make Project 86 into another band to "make Jesus cool" like disciple (which i still like) they have their own music style and their own connection to god

  • @jay212127 that is something I respect, as long as they stay true to who they are and what they stand for and don't give into the temptations of what the world tricks artists into giving into. I've always had respect for these guys.

  • Underoath is a good example too. These groups reach people with a gospel message a preacher never will...

  • Not all Christian bands are stereotypical "PRAISE THE LORD" bands, either...? Not all Christian bands have strictly Christian songs... See: Relient K and Hawk Nelson. Some of their songs are love songs, or just songs for fun.

  • @BooksSingingLove August Burns Red, The Crimson Armada are a few examples.

  • this song is sick they r so good

  • religious version of Manson? songs a lot like marilyn manson to me in instrumental, voice and lyrics

  • v.i.p. access 2 them on thurs

  • v.i.p. access 2 them on thurs

  • cant wait 2 see them thurs. v.i.p. access bitch!

  • @painKILLSall

You're right man. If you don't like good, unique, music, go and listen to the horrible bands you just posted. If you want to listen to a band with amazing talent, whose writing reflect great truths, then listen to this. Project 86 ftw.

    \m/>.<

  • @TheDayspring777

no thanks. lol i'm not a bible thumper. this band would have been decent to me, had i not been informed they were christian. lol

  • @painKILLSall They may be Christian, but it's not like they're the stereotypical "PRAISE THE LORD" Christian band. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that they're Christians in a band, rather than a Christain band. Yes, they have some songs that are indeed very religions (Picket Fence Cartel in general has alot of that). But they have so many other songs that just deal with real life problems like suicide, drinking, etc. They're a great band that just so happens to be composed of Christians.

  • @painKILLSall

And each and every single band you listen to believes and practices the same philosophy and theology as you, right? Riiight.

  • @painKILLSall Go listen to Gorgoroth. Their founder is a homo, just like you.

  • What a great song!! In the end evil will be destroyed. Visited 10 fold upon their head. Great anthem for the end times!! Darkness will give way to light. Righteousness will overcome! When Christ returns, the serpent will be destroyed!!

  • I can't wait to see them on Friday!!!

  • i got in trouble for playing this at my church, they didn't believe it was religous but they do let me play for today over the PA XD

  • sounds like marilyn manson to me XD love it

  • WOW!!! Visually, one of my favorite vids ever.

  • idk why this guys are so small they are amazing xD

  • @himselffd they have been around since 1999. they never got big cuz they r huge christians. i love that they r still here and sound this strong:D i got there first cd back when i was a good little christian kid in private school hahaha. i love these guys sooooo much

  • @dantejosephmorelli yeah but bands like august burns red are big

  • great song and video, but its LOL, how i got a ad about makeup before the video started

  • I think this division between secular and non secular is a waist of breath. I am a Christian and what I do for a job is sell office supply's.. My art , I take pictures of things that are not associated with Christianity (trees, grass, buildings, plants, clouds) but I am still a Christian. If there are no lyrics to the song what would the instrumental music be then? And if you have a problem that they are not singing about Jesus or God specifically read the book of Esther.

  • Whats sad is they filed a copyright claim on the labels channel for this song. This version isn't even in HD. So stupid.

  • whats up

  • These dudes shred/Praise The Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • DAMN! Love this song 8DDD

  • uninteresting, takes too long to develop and not visually descriptive

  • @theeccentric agreed with you...

That and they're secular... at least, tainted... no bueno

  • @sailentshadow How do you figure they're "tainted"?

  • @Medli Sorry, was a commercial that was 2 minutes some seconds long.. thought it was the band.

  • @sailentshadow Aren't we all by this world? =) The good news is that this band has had a big impact on kids lives, and is what the gospel is focused on.

  • @DeadOutlaw911 Yes. and yes. Amen

  • Make a vid for safe haven :D

  • Whoa no dislikes. Nice!!

  • actually the video does make since. if you think about it the bag on the dudes head resembles being bound by the devil an the spinning hat guy is confusion. the bag getting riped off the guy is like jesus releasing him from satans bound.

  • reminds me of tools music videos

  • You don't even see them play, and the video doesn't make sense at all!

  • @eagle63026 Yeah... isn't it awesome?!?!!!

  • Did they redo the video or something. I have another version of this video that is much different. It's shows alot more of the guys (though in costume) and different scenery.

  • Witness the fear of the fiends

Open the floodgates, behold and believe

Witness the pain, let it rain on the beast

For the serpent is slain in a blaze of defeat!

  • good song terrible video

  • great song vid sucked

  • @3rdvincetheman Everything in the video is a metaphor, and I think the vid is great, if you know what everything means

  • great song vid sicked

  • This band deserves a much bigger following. I think the whole christian label may throw people off. I've been listening to these guys for almost 13 years now and they are not making "christian" music. In fact, alot of their songs can be interpreted in a number of ways. All in all though, they are completely bad ass.

  • what the fuck is this? this band use to be so good

  • 0 dislikes that's awesome

  • Project 86 = OWNAGE!!!!!!!

  • vevo sucks and fuck olay damn sheman

  • The phrase is at 1:48 and it says the cold hand that strangles you is no longer a threat

  • wow this only has 12000 views, what a shame.

  • FUCKING ADS

  • A bit more to this video than I first thought. Thanks firefoxish and AerinSucacry; now I have to keep watching it :D

  • A bit more to this video than I first thought. Thanks firefoxish and AerinSucacry; now I have to keep watching it :D

  • 0:1

  • awsome song

  • This video is legit. It's so trippy yet intriguing simultaneously. Love it.

  • This has some lyrics from: To sand we return

was nicely made. Cant wait for God to come back

  • Creepy good.

  • this video kinda reminds me of Saw....

  • seriously wtf does this mean

  • @zinnyzxx That's for you to decide. Abstract, surreal videos like this are up for interpretation, though I have looked into what the artists had in mind.

  • @zinnyzxx it means the director has an abstract view on the song and wanted to portray that through the video. let them do what they have a job for. k? cool :)

  • @TheModerndayAlice I just didn't understand it. I'm not saying they did something wrong. k? cool :)

  • @zinnyzxx k cool :P lol i was just angry by some peoples comments hahahaha i aint hatin or nothing :)

  • @zinnyzxx im going to be honest with you, i have no idea

  • @zinnyzxx Enlightenment, man, enlightenment.

  • (the one below this comes first)

Red embers streatch as far as the eye can see. As we dance to the power [?] the [?] [?] grace. We, discarded like human traffic. To feed your fury. Who do you belong to? Who do I belong to? Who do we belong to? Not earth. Not the world. Not evil. Not mortals. Not wretches. Who do YOU belong to? Unbreaking, unchanging, unfailing, creator, immortal, eternal. His judgement cometh and right soon.

These are the hidden words in the song. Best music vid of the year.

  • @firefox1ish I also found the next 3 ? marks. As we dance to the power BEHIND the FLICKERING FLAME.

  • The hand tearing you away from the daylight. The human number. The self-destructive tendency that pulls you like gravity. The distraction that strangles. We speak to you... Because we know you're listening.Have you ever wondered who's holding you captive? Have you ever wondered if justice is real? Yes. [?] of the [?] your ego has cost you dearly. The end of torment is not a fantasy. The cold hand that strangles you is no longer a threat. The end of the oppressor's reign, red rain the end of pain

  • @firefox1ish Your two question mark here are Son and morning. The Son of the Morning is another name for Lucifer.

  • @firefox1ish You missed "can we ever find refuge?" after Have you ever wondered if justice is real.

  • @firefox1ish You missed "can we ever find refuge?" after Have you ever wondered if justice is real.

There is also something written in the sky around 1:49 that I cannot make out.

  • @firefox1ish i believe the part w/question marks is "son of the morning your ego has cost you dearly." thanks for typing all of these out, i couldn't quite catch them all.

  • @live4ix thanks, that one was hard to catch. If you've listend to the rest of the record, the part starting with "who do you belong to?" through the end is from the last son on the album, "To Sand We Return"

  • @live4ix thanks, that part was hard to catch. If you listen the rest of the record, the part of the hidden lyrics that starts with "Who do you belong to?" through the end is from the last song on the record "To Sand We Return"

  • @firefox1ish first word should be: "Appollyon"

after "have you ever wondered who's holding you captive" there is "can we ever find refuge?" the 1st 2 question marks are "son" and "morning"

couldnt read 1:49, dunno if u got that or not

in your second comment you missed "not horrors"

and i think "prayer changes things" comes in somewhere...

  • Truly amazing. This is one of the best music videoes this years.

  • I honestly haven't heard a bad song from Project 86 yet. There are just some that aren't as awesome as others. They are really, really good. Going to see them live tomorrow, Toledo OH. $10 tickets!

  • Fantastic lighting.

Video was pretty trippy; liked it though.

  • love this song

  • first commenter! THIS SONG ROCKS
