@TheJumpyPopcorn To be honest, I really think they were together as friends & as lovers and Freddie was the love of Barbara's life but not the same for Fred. He felt A LOT for Mary at time and it never was gone completely in a way. I read something after Barbara's death that she said that when Freddie died, one big part of her died also, but about that woman said if Freddie wasn't gay, they could get married.. Pppfff! I DON'T THINK that either... Freddie was so promiscuous!!

That was why Mary and Freddie broke up, cause she knew how Freddie really was, what made him happy and the best was to let him "go" in his own way... and Mary wanted another type of relationship. Another thing's suprised me: It's a hard life" was written to B.?? :O It's more about a break-up, when the things are hurting in that moment, when u have everything & nothing in the same time (and that means Love!) @rhapsodier78 I can see a big difference between Mary and Barbara and honestly I prefer Mary a lot more. Barbara was famous for her many love affairs and Freddie was like her, I think they did get along but I really doubt that they were lovers, perhaps to Barbara he was her lover as she said he was the love of her life but to Freddie I doubt so, he trusted Mary and I think he knew that if it wasn´t Mary it was not any woman.

Mary wanted to mary and have kids with Freddie, she did not want him to have lovers outside their relationship and Barbara was just for fun , had Freddie while he dated another man, it would be stupid if Freddie ever married her when he had Mary, of course he would never do it cause Mary was always on his heart, gay or not.
