@zeijmartijn well the guitar John is using in this video i think is his main '62 strat, and Anthony bought John that guitar when he rejoined the peppers because John didn't have a guitar anymore back then.. so it has to be after rejoining, but probably not long after that

@krazykalash in a more recent interview, when the reporter asked him about being clean, he interrupted and said he was never clean. he said he had no reason to be. He referred to anthony and flea and talked of how they have families and reasons to live. He said he still uses, but knows to control it now. I wouldn't bullshit you. I love frusciante. @Limjucas8396 sorry i think your bullshitting. of course he was clean, not only could you tell by his physical appearance, speech, and attitude, but he talked many times in interviews about how he never felt a reason to quit, but then one day he wondered what it would be like if he just completely stopped doing every drug (hence his album To Record Only Water) and he did. now i wouldnt be suprised if he smoked a little pot every now and then, but for a good 5 years he was clean off everything
