Dude just buy a high end pc if your such a hardcore gamer, its expensive but if you have the money go ahead . I also own a ps3 and an xbox 360 but trust me pc is BEAST!
@ELBOMB4RO A gaming PC is fairly cheap in contrast to my gaming setup and Studio equipment & I game on my Mac Pro on Steam it runs windows too so no real need I got it all covered LMAO
@FredEFuego Dude, I play Crysis 2 all day on PS3 and I was in the top 90, and now I play on an other account, i've seen this often and this is just a guy from asia or africa or europe, with the lag as usual. A lag switcher is temporary invisible and thats not what happened, he got damaged a lot but he was already somewhere else, and that why he suddenly stealth killed you...
HAHA U don't know ANYthing about Internet connections...Man 45 45 wtf is that? It's not like that.. First thing is that those are NOT "MB" but "Mb" (it's huge difference).
Secondly when U have 45 or 25 Mb/s download U don't have that same speed for upload. Usually it's like 4 time slower (upload)
I have Internet 120 Mb/s download (about 30 upload) and I'm playing Crysis 2 on PC and it doesn't lag so much as 4 others. (I admit some are epic :D)
@sergyocomand I have a 25/25 Megabyte signal and that is Up & Download from Verizon FIOS and they do have faster uploads and they uploads are always as fast as there downloads it's a pure fiberoptic line in your home do the research or call Verizon yourself and I test my connection quite a bit & I always get faster connection then what I pay for so what your tell me about my service was a waist of your time I will upload mt connection speed from speedtest
Just because they lag doesn't mean they are cheating... Sheesh, Xbox Live is riddled with this... Just fucking get used to it... It's going to happen more and more... And Crytek don't do shit.
I don't know if he was using a switch, but on the XBOX the lag compensation and ping rate can be good yet you'll still have lag. The problem is with the net code and no dedicated servers for us console owners. It's a shame 'cos the game could have been brilliant. Byt CryAdam and the Developers at Crytek are really arrogant and not recognising the problem that we the community have raised over on their forums at EA.
This game is awesome but the lag can be intense sometimes. The consoles have about the same amount of lag. The PCs have it good, their lag isn't so bad, when it does happen, watch out for insanity. One time I shot a guy twice with the sniper rifle and he didn't die. He turns on armor and I hit him twice more, still not dead, then he shoots me with his scar twice, I die. WTF?!
it might be lag switching but it could be that crytek did a shitty job programming. crysis 2 lag is probably the worst in console history (at least the ps3 version). i don't have the greatest internet service but none of my other games lag like crysis2 (and i have very little to no lag). hell, even blackops didn't lag this bad. i noticed they recently released a patch and it doesn't lag as much.
@digitaltiger777 Well one of my clan members got it for the 360 and he claims it worse on the 360 and took it back for the PS3 version says PS3 version has less lag so I have no idea what to believe to be honest with you
@FredEFuego I live in ireland dude, shitty ass copper phone line internet, my dl is 8 megs my upload is 0.5, it takes me 5 hours to upload a 10 minute gameplay. It's pathetic :(
I got 40mb connection and the game still lags on xbox :P peace
