  • "Ah have lost the war for southron independence, mah lungs are consumed with a grave virulence, and lippy fucking kikes are trying to excite my death-urge, just because they believe ah am derunk. Alas, ah feyah ah am at the worlds mursah tonite."

    We feel for you Doc.

  • I love the look from Bill Paxton in the thumbnail

  • Does anyone think that Shane could beat Doc Holliday in a fight?

  • when they speak latin is kinda nonsense

  • Cimarron Arms sells a Whole Doc Holliday package. SAme nickel Thunderder, knife & shoulder rig. $1580

  • Dunno about Johnny or Doc, but I always prefer Michael Biehn over Val Kilmer

  • This movie never fails to stir the blood in my veins when I watch.I have never spoken to anyone who has not liked this version.I don't know exactly how true events are portrayed in this movie,But after watching Kevin Costners version"Wyatt Earp"which came out about the same time,it must be fairly faithful because his version is almost identical. Costners version is good, but Russell, Kilmer, Boothe and Biehn give the best acting of their careers for this movie and it shows in the finished item!

  • Even though they're in public, it's like the Latin locks them into their own private face-off

  • dats Latin Dog!

  • wow google translate has failed you horribly

  • im thinking of naming my kid after doc

  • I'm in my prime!

  • Doc: "Not me... I'm in my prime" lol

  • 7 people are not educated

  • My dog Lacey is in the movie- she barked though out the whole movie.

  • what a flimsy version of this movie was cooked up by kevin costner and dennis quaid. quaid's doc holliday was laughable compared to kilmer's version. quaid thinks talking deep and scowling is acting.

ringo and doc are interesting foils- both outlaws but with intelligence. doc has a bit of a moral compass while ringo is lost.

  • @nootaramus Kevin Costner's movie was good. It focused on Earp's life, Tombstone was focused on Tombstone. I agree no one can touch Kilmers Holiday

  • hahaha frederic fuckin chopan

  • Top Three Gunfighters in my opinon.

    1) Cullent Baker credited with inventing the fast draw

    2) John Wesley Hardin stood down both Wild Bill Hickok and Ben Thompson

    3) Clay Allison ate with a man he knew was going to try and kill him then beat the man to the draw.

  • how many takes did it take to get all that crazy gunslinging right hahahaha

  • Love this fuckin movie!

  • "That's Latin, darling. Evidentially, Mr. Ringo is an educated man....now I really hate him!"

  • @AgApE010

    "you don't even know him..."

    just had to... LOL

  • Doc then replies In pace requiescat.

May the real fool rest in peace.

    ps. obviously we all know

    which way the Huckleberry rolled

  • Doc; (tell it to someone who is naive enough to care.)

Ringo: Inexperience is the teacher of fools.(if you tell

a wise person that fire is hot, he heeds the advice.

the fool gets burnt. In life when you make a mistake,

you pay with wealth, life, or liberty.)

(This is the greatest insult by ringo. calling Doc a

foolish child who is going to be taught a lesson by

his master, in this case ringos colt.)

  • @Yair0De0La7Vega

now, we can be friends... <3

  • Interpretation

Doc: im sure of it, i hate him. Wyatt: Hes drunk. Doc: in wine you find truth. (not expecting a response, he reiterates the insult that he hates him.)

Ringo; I can see you do what you do best, (insulting him for being a drunk.)

but you better check yourself before you wreck yourself cause my colt .45 is bad for your health.

Doc: am I to believe in santi clause, the easter bunny, the talking walnut, and that dr. pepper has a new satisfying diet drink. not me

  • @Yair0De0La7Vega WTF am I reading? LOL Thank you sir, for making my day a bit brighter.

  • Oh poor Val Kilmer. What happened to you?

  • @JytingDeath Batman Forever happened lol

  • Johnny Ringo: You must be Doc Holliday

Doc Holliday: (cough) (cough) That's the rumor

    Johnny Ringo: You retired too?

Doc Holliday: Not me I'm in my prime.

One of my favorite quotes from Tombstone

  • awesomesuperleetmovie<3

  • "Evidently Mr Ringo is an educated man...Now I really hate him"...awesomeness abounds in this scene

  • alright lunger!!

  • This happens to be a nocturne...you know, frederic fu"*ing chopin

  • lol

  • The only educated man is Kurt Russell with the double barrel pointed at the nuts

  • It is one of the best films ever made.Great actors...real men...real women...charming and immersive story...and the smell of something inimitable enjoyment...This movie is the king of western creations for me.(((...and that fiery look of Mr.Biehn is just a s*xual harassment...in a good sense...brrr...)))

  • actually johnny ringo was found dead down by a river or creek never knowing who actually shot him. most people thought it was wyatt though. lol i dont blame the guy. i would have shot his smart ass to. lol

  • that's it !! i'm groing a mustache !

  • I'm in my prime.

    Yes you look it!!!

    #LOL

  • God, Biehn is so fucking awesome

  • Fredric Fucking Chopin

  • that last thing doc says at the end of the video always makes me crack up.

  • This is the ultimate Movember movie.

  • I can't find my favorite scene where he tell's the guy who wants a gunfight, "how bout a spellin' contest?"

  • Curly Bill would get His,Just like Johnny Ringo!

  • Everyone's great comments here took the words right out of my mouth. There's nothing left I can say that someone hasn't already said. Well done.

  • why johnny ringo, look like somebody just wwhhalked over your grave.

  • @jg8247

I'll beg to differ sir, this movie is extremely factual. They cyphered in every minute detail of the events that took place.

  • @loydbank33 No, it isn't. Holliday didn't kill Ringo. Holliday was in Colorado when Ringo was killed.

  • @Zubirrex is this then not treu? i thought Holliday killed Ringo?!

  • @Rolex010 No one knows who really killed him. It was ruled a suicide, but no one shoots themselves in the head the way he was shot. Look it up on Wikipedia.

  • @Zubirrex I didn't say that Wyatt Earp wrote the movie purely by memory and notes made in his journal. I meant that to our most previous knowledge of the happenings was acted out and recorded on film. Answer me this, in school did you ever do the activity where everybody gets into a line or circle and the first person is told a sentence and then you have to try to get to the end without changing it at all?

  • @loydbank33 Well I have and it is extremely hard and if a small group of people can keep a sentence what about over a hundred years of people being told story after story.

  • Cast of Aliens reunited in this scene ( - Sigorney Weavery)

  • I was born in the wrong time i want to be there.

  • best western movie of all time....i can watch it ovr and ovr and never get tired of it....

  • val is a wonderful actor.

  • Watch out johnny, i heard he's reaaaaaal fast.

  • Evidently Mr. Ringo's an educated Man. Now I really hate him. xD

  • Alright Michael Biehn! Fancy gun tricks my friend. I'm applauding right now. Yeah Michael Biehn!

  • Thanks....I always wanted to know what they were saying...I took Spanish in high school in stead of Latin...:)

  • @yumacrimcharlee It would be more useful for you in the future, trust me. The roman empire is not what it used to be XD

  • wow who r the 6 fools who didnt like this video

  • Val Kilmer's Doc Holiday is in my top 5 movie characters of all time.

  • Man this is one of the best scenes in the movie. Then again the whole movie was great!

  • michael biehn is hot. :)

  • Val Kilmer did good playing the role of Doc Holiday

  • in pace requiescat... um?

  • very good video!

  • evedently mr ringo is an educated man... now i really hate him. lol!!

  • I wonder if Cpl. Hicks could do that with his Pulse Rifle?

  • I was so excited, when looking at a scene from "big trouble in little china" that this showed up on the sidebar. Two of my favorite movies!!!

  • This is a cool scene.

  • Funniest moment ever!

  • What Chopin song is he supposed to be playing?

  • Val Kilmer deserved an Oscar for his brilliance in this role.

  • Clearly Outmustached.

  • No. I'm sure of it, I hate him.

  • "You know...Frederick fucking Chopin?"

  • loved that scene

  • tuff ass dude

  • Fakest moustaches, ever.

  • The first is one of my favorite movie scenes. You just have to love Doc's face at 1:04 - up until that he's been all cool and relaxed, Ringo's reputation as a gunslinger doesn't worry him in the least, but god damn when the guy actually ANSWERS BACK in Latin...

  • such an awesome film, one may never grow tired of it.

  • watch it johnny i hear hes real fast. i love that line

  • best scene of the movie i reckon there are some great scenes in the movie like the 1 where docs drunk and says to ike clanton maybe pokers just not your game ike i know lets have a spelling contest classic but the scene with ringo and holliday is a all time classic

  • aaaah, the "latin duel'

    CULT CLASSIC

  • I like how he says "Look darlin, Johnny Ringo" Like hes talking about some caged circus monkey hehe

  • "Why Johnny Ringo, you look like somebody walked over your grave."

  • Does any1 know what they're saying when they're speaking Latin?

  • Doc Holliday: In vino veritas.

    "In wine is truth"

    Johnny Ringo: Age quod agis.

"Do what you do" or "go about your business" loosely translatedto English

Doc Holliday: Credat Judaeus apella, non ego.

"The Jew Apella may believe it, not I"

    Johnny Ringo: Eventus stultorum magister.

"Events are the teachers of fools"

    Doc Holliday: In pace requiescat.

    "Rest in peace

  • @mrjomorisin great name, great comment... thanks for that dude! :: dances away singing "mister mooo joooo rrriiisssiinnnnn do doooo gotta keep on rrriissssiiiiinnnnn do doooo" ::

  • @c4r50n1

Doc, In vino veritas (In wine is truth) (When I'm drinking, I speak my mind)

Johnny, Age quod agis (Do what you do best) (Drink)

Doc, Credat Judaeus apella, non ego (The Jew Apella may believe it, not I) This was an insult because Ringo was supposed to be from a bloodline of jews and hated it.

Ringo, Eventus stultorum magister. (Events are the teachers of fools) (Fools have to learn by experience)

Doc, In pace requiescat (Rest in peace) ('s your funeral)

    Jesus three comments laterxD

  • @BirdiewasHere Thanks! I only recognized the "vino".

  • This sceneis 1 of my favs, 4 real...."What do u think darling? Should I hate him?...I don't know, there is something around the eyes...I'm sure of it, I HATE HIM!" LMAO

  • thanks guys, I'm so glad to find so many fans :) good thing I spent like 3 hours to cut the scenes =))

  • @verdecrud good job thank you

  • @verdecrud, i´m sure there are millions of fans, but most of them doesent use the computer i´m sure xD

  • @verdecrud You did damn good work, too :)

  • I don't know, there's something about him. I don't know.. reminds me of ........ Me......

no, I'm sure of it. I hate him!

    best line for me

  • 2 of my favorite scenes, ever. Thanks for uploading. Back in highschool this movie inspired me to do a report on Doc Holliday, interesting man for sure.

  • inimitable? have i spelt that correctly?

  • In Vino Veritas.

    In wine there is truth.

  • and the rest?

  • YOU GET SERVED JOHNY RINGO LMAO awesome movie

  • Doc didn't even flinch when Ringo drew his gun. Heh. Doc's awesome.

  • Doc holiday cracks me up ROFL

  • I fuckin' love this movie!

  • So many great actors and scenes in this movie! The use of Latin quotes in an old west saloon is an absolute stroke of genius.

  • "That's Latin Darlin. Evidently Mr. Ringo is an educated man. Now I REALLY hate him."

EPIC. Val Kilmer never got the recognition that he deserved for his role in what is one of the best Westerns ever made.

  • Sure, both Kilmer and Russell made this movie epic, and specially Kilmer deserved more for his performance.

Also Biehn, who in my opinion deserved a little bit more screen, is awesome.

  • best western!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • im your huckleberry

  • If that first scene had been filmed in a 60s or 70s Leone movie, people in papers, textbooks, blogs, etcetera would be banging on about it to the point of exasperation. As it is, it's a piece of film that only a few can quietly appreciate for what it is. Fantastic. Yeehaa Kyle Reese.

  • Once Doc started fuckin with someone he just kept it up until they snapped.

  • Not me, i'm in my prime.

  • Doc Holliday is the Best

  • U retired TOO??

  • He is the reason I watch this movie once a month..lol Best acting ever. No one will ever be Doc but Val.

  • I second that brother.....tell me as ive seen this movie hundreds of times, whats a longer they keep calling doc ...

  • He's got what they used to call "Consumption" or TB, he's lungs are raw and fill up with blood.

  • thanx bro......wondered about that for yrs...

  • Im a sister!..lol You cant get sick of him

  • oops....sry rashellet4...my oppologies madam...

  • It's "lunger," which was slang at the time for someone who had tuberculosis.

  • thanks man....Doc is the shit

  • nobody will ever do "Doc" like Kilmer...just like trying to be the next "Joker" after Ledger...great stuff

  • you really nailed it with that comment.

  • Val kilmer and Micheal Biehn faced each other again in Streets of Blood with rapper 50 Cents, but it was weak.

  • what a movie

  • I agree about the no chemistry between kurt and dana

  • Possibly the best Western film ever!

  • Possibly the best Western film ever!

  • "In vino veritas"

  • "..you know...Frederic fucking Chopin?"

  • Ha..."We don't want any trouble in here - not in any language".

  • What do ya think darlin, should I hate him? Haha, love it, one of the best lines ever.

  • Top Gun???? Should i hate you. Top5 worst with Con Air, Armegeddon and such shit!!!!!!

  • Michael Biehn was a bad-ass in this movie. I loved that! And Val Kilmer had his best role since Top Gun. But the romance between Kurt Russell & Dana Delaney lacked any chemistry.

  • Anybody aware if Michael Biehn did his own gun work there?

  • It says on a couple of websites that he DID do all the gun twirling himself. Michael, you never cease to amaze...

  • Thanks for that piece of info. It somehow makes this scene even more kick ass.

  • western version of "you got served".top 5 best westerns ever.

  • Ill be putting more shot vids of myself.

  • This made me the shooter I am.

  • Frederick fuckin Chopin!

  • If you can handle your drinking cup that well, you might just have a very serious drinking problem Doc. XD

  • If anyone knows, can they please tell me what Ringo and Holiday were saying in Latin?

  • To TheToyAnimator. In vino veritas.

["In wine is truth" meaning: "When I'm drinking, I speak my mind"] Age quod agis.

["Do what you do" meaning: "Do what you do best"] Credat Judaeus apella, non ego.

["The Jew Apella may believe it, not I" meaning: "I don't believe drinking is what I do best."]

    Eventus stultorum magister.

["Events are the teachers of fools" meaning: "Fools have to learn by experience"] In pace requiescat.

["Rest in peace" meaning: "It's your funeral!"]

  • I'm sure if it, I hate him.

I did that to some one I just met once. The best part...the guy said "I'm your huckleberry." lol

  • kinda nerdy, but my friends and i have an ongoing game of trying to casually interject lines from tombstone into the context of everyday life... we call it tombstone points, and the person who presents the comment scores two points if the person receiving the comment cannot respond accordingly from the movie....if they can you each are awarded a point. maybe you can do the same, nerds unite. =)

  • Chopin, not Showpan, but yes, that's one of my favorite scenes.

  • Considering Chopin was Polish and spoke with an accent the correct, because Polish, pronounciation would be, Shopen, written Chopin ofcourse. XD

  • I don't know how you're pronouncing Shopen, but I see no way that it's correct. Spectre0075's phonetic spelling is correct.

  • one of Val Kilmers top 3 roles

Michael Biehn is great but under appreciated like always. Guy gets killed in every movie he's in

  • something round the eyes.

  • "Maybe pokers just not your game Ike. I know, lets have a spelling contest."
