  • I saw jackson about two months ago in st. Louis, and was astounded by the rudeness of the crowd. I think if I were him I would do like dylan does - I wouldn't take requests. I found all the drunks yelling for old songs very annoying... there's plenty of it in this video.

  • Hardly. I saw him last night and for an acoustic performance, I found the time he spent talking to the audience just about right. And tuning time was virtually ZIP. The man has 16 guitars on stage with him!

    25 songs in two hours - including two brand new songs. One of the best shows I've ever seen. band or no band, Jackson ALWAYS delivers.

  • I saw Jackson in March 2008 and he is the best he has EVER been... Nicest guy in the world and tries his best to play as many requests as possible. He even asks for ppl to request songs... He ROCKS and always will!!! Thank you Jackson Browne for 34 years of your beautiful music. You will ALWAYS be my All Time FAV =))

  • I just love JB. I could never warm up to David Lindley. In the guitar bridge on "Doctor My Eyes", David just stops playing altogether, like he can't think of the next note.

    I saw J.B. lots over the years, but not for a while, I had gotten tired of all the acoustic shows back in the late nineties (too much of a good thing).

    Is he doing mostly that these days?

    Just asking because I'm in the U.S. no longer and I haven't kept track.

I love the way that he and David Lindley communicate in their perfomances, which really go beyond performance, to the hearts and souls of people everywhere.   • He doesn't have a beard here. It's a trick of the lights. Makes his "stubble" look like a beard. But his stubble is white! FINALLY, the man is starting to age!! Sheez, he's about 60 and looks 40!! That just isn't right!! :-) Great singer/songwriter, probably one of the best in the world.
