hey! I was there that night! was amazing concert! Labor Day.BTO,Kim Mitchell then Van Halen last gig Silver stadium..I ware a grey Smoke Jacket black Hat with blue bandana on hat..I was up front, crushed by 25,000 + people..communicated with Dave Anthony much as he played that night on left side of stage I was. I'm looking for night camera when they rocked! amazing night it was
From 5:41, Eddie is riffing on: Women in love (from II), Black and blue.
From 6:55, The three zep songs played are: Whole Lotta Love, Communication Breakdown (7:14) , How many more times (7:30). Then the other one about 8:05 is Robin Trower's Bridge Of Sighs, sounds like. The last one I don't know who it might be, but sounds like a surfer song.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Alex looks Chinese.........Eddie looks Mexican...........Mike looks like Ogre from "Revenge of the Nerds"...........Dave looks like a Jew...........Sammy looks like a poodle-haired FAGGOT.
8:12 repeated 1 1/2-step bend in "Born Under a Bad Sign" shows up 12 years later on VH III, right before verse 2 of "Without You". Cool stuff. Thanks for posting this!
Because back in 86 when Sammy still had some balls, he used to climb up & sing some songs on the scaffold during the show. Sammy sang "I Can't Drive 55" from up there.
Very cool!!! Neat to see footage with Zeke Clark in there, Ed's guitar tech back in the day. Kinda freaky hearing Black & Blue 2 years before they released it. One of the best sound check vids I've seen----THANKS!!!
This was my first concert ever (I remember thinking that the $14.00 ticket was expensive and my $16.00 Van Halen Kicks Ass T-Shirt had to be removed at school the next day). An awesome day for an eighth-grader BTO rocked too! If only we had the type of pull to get a show like this at Paetec Park! Thank you for posting this!
Did anyone else here see the tour with Dave last year? Am I the only one who thought that they weren't putting any effort into it? I've seen VH a ton of times and the last one was rather disappointing. They were sloppy and Eddie's guitar solo was lazy... Dave looked in great shape but couldn't sing very well. Just wondering if anyone else felt that way.
Ed used to be able to play... maybe he still can under all that drunk garbage he plays. Sorta sad going from Eddie Van Halen to being worse than some punk kid in a music store.
you don't think for 2 seconds that maybe he still knows how to play the shit he used to play and maybe he just trying to be fucking different cause what he did before got boring as shit after 30 years
what the fuck did you just say? Honestly look to form a proper sentence and come back to me you cum drinking, cock sucking, anal felching, worthless piece of fucking shit. Fucking kill yourself you faggot ass bitch.
So you are a true vulgarian. Its called a run-on sentence. I am alive breathing, just to piss you off. Face to face you would piss your jammies. I will stay alive. I have been in places you couldnt look straight in the face. I AM ALIVE YOU TURN YOU FUCKING LIFE OFF. I AM ALIVE > DO YOU READ ME ? ALIVE! YOU dont judge me, I dont live by your approval.
good god you're a cock sucking nerd, eat shit and die. Seriously look at yourself, talking CAPS LOCK? lmfao wow calm down faggot, you gonna cry on me?
Thanks, man. "Black and Blue" is a favorite of mine. I love 0U812. Some of the guitar work on that album is just insane. WIsh I'd seen "Women in Love" performed live with either singer. That song is awesome, too. Saw them on For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge, Balance, and the Greatest Hits tours and then with DLR last year, but never got that one. Love the Zeppelin jams on here too.

WOW, thanks so much for posting! I live in Rochester, NY so its kewl to see a vid from there..I don't think that sounds like Alex on drums for Panama, it might be his tech, then Sammy plays later. Do you know why Alex was not there? You can tell Eddie's all like, "um, this sucks" but is too nice to say anything, lol.
As a drum tech you better know the band's songs well. this guy can barely beat a drum, what the hell is he doing as a drum tech?
