Good reply and completely true. My favourite punk-rock band is Bad Brains (later called Soul Brains); all members are black.

My favourite metal band (call it "new"-metal if u want) is Sevendust; the singer is too black and was previously an r'n'b singer, and that's what makes the sound of the band special and innovative.
