The thing he likes about AVA is he gets to control everything and write whatever he wants, and in blink mark and travis bring his ideas back down and change them around. His best music is written in blink, as Mark and Travis with Tom create the greatest music in the world, but Tom needs to vent himself in AVA somtimes.Nothing about any of this is bad though :D

@splitkickersam It's a gibson ES-333. they're pretty easy to find. To get a guitar of the same quality, get either a Gibson or and Epiphone, as Epiphone is made by Gibson. If you don't want to spend a lot of money, get an Epiphone Dot studio. It's got the same style as an ES-333, but it has two humbuckers instead of one, a volume and tone control, and a pickup switch. Tom's only has one humbucker and a volume control. You still get the same sound though.

Its because Tom takes AVA so much more seriously than blink-182.

Many people don't want to accept it because they think blink 182 better. Tom is just so much more into Angels & Airwaves than blink.

If you look over the past 5-6 years? that AVA has been around, Tom has done tons to make this band great. He's started modlife for the band, gave out a free album to get the band more recognized. And he's probably done so much more than we even know.
