Good I invested in a chain saw and mill attachment with a 41" bar. I'm able to mill fallen trees up to 60" in dia. Firewood, beams, recycled timbers, etc. Lots of ability to trade for food and other necessities when the hoards of flatlanders head for the hills to escape mayhem and anarchy.

I am not a economics wizard, nor did I attend Harvard.---The thought of hyperinflation makes me think of being on a roller coaster while recovering from the stomach flu. May I respectfully ask why someone who is able to make billions in stocks and bonds needs to sell dvds for $33? This may have been done yesterday.Then someone who is in this particular firm's pocket fakes a market dump via a computer "glitch"...market falls,,,then stops.Firm's orders then execute somewhere..and it call rises back up...Financial firms and others make a fortune based on this type of situation. One of the financials that I haven't heard mentioned at all is the underwriting of new deals...last week was the busiest week in IPO's in two years...during the depression deals came at a premium..but now, they seem to be manipulated even more before the open and allocated as such than in the internet boom. Part1:MOT,I agree with you (for a change)on the prediction of inevitable Deflation in North America.But my take on this is that this phenomenon is the best thing since "American Apple Pie"!How else can we compete in the Global Economy with dominants such as China(1.3B)/India(1.1B)?We need lower real estate, lower prices, lower commodities, lower factors of production, lower EVERYTING!We can no longer sustain or fuel our economy by relying on hard working Mexicans.

I am a Greek living in canada. I have the perfect Greek solution to their Debt. All they have to do is Sell short all the top 500 stock companies on DJI. Then Have people riot and cause so much trouble. Then the Country on the same day the Government of Greece announces default of its debt. The markets would crash and they could make as much a a Trillion US dollars in one day. This is the Greek way. Or have they already done this privately ???

May I respectfully ask why someone who is able to make billions in stocks and bonds needs to sell dvds for $33? If you really were able to predict markets accurately and reliably you would be the first person on earth to do so (talking about the long term, not a decade or two of luck) and you would be rich beyond anyone's wildest imaginations.

@Choraligame - I'm not here to defend MOT but I believe the answer to your question was covered in this video of his when he said he wouldn't have felt right with himself if he went down the route of getting into the buy/sell trades business as he was looking at the 'big' picture, i.e, long term view to all of this mess. I interpret this to mean he has some sort of conscience which is more than can be said for the likes of Goldman Sachs

@manoftruth IMO the truth and eloquence of what you have to say has everything to do with the inner/higher qualities that we your viewers are more than capable of recognising within you, and absolutely nothing to do with the egoic externals that you consitently choose to keep identifying with yourself. After a while Harvard on loop becomes extremely off putting, and worse still dilutes/detracts from the quality of the message you have been asked to bring

And yet the media are still talking about how the recession is over, and the fundamentals of our economy are strong again. And yet, when shit gets real, they start going off in a frenzy about how bad shit is. They just now realize the economy is fucked up, huh?
My opinions are mixed on this... I know that the DOW dropping 998 points was due to human error, but before it even happened, DOW was down 300. The economy can't be all that strong if DOW closed -350 after all was said and done, can it?

This may have been done yesterday.Then someone who is in this particular firm's pocket fakes a market dump via a computer "glitch"...market falls,,,then stops.Firm's orders then execute somewhere..and it call rises back up...Financial firms and others make a fortune based on this type of situation. Make sense ?..very possible.. A lot of bad people made good money today...any thoughts ?

a friend of mine calls me a cynic. Cause I say that a small number of men control the worlds money. Such as when Standard Oil was broken up . Rothschild did he lose money or did he end up big in the end. I say the break up of Standard Oil was a big show. Mr R is one of the small number of men in control, so what does it matter that he had to break up Standard Oil.

Down Jones was hit with worse loss ever. Nearly 1000 point drop in a matter of minutes which our gov blames on trading glitch in a program. Well, the truth is this market is prop up. I believe today a few of the props fell from under that market, but gold rose.

MOT You should set up a merchant file download. You can set it up so people are buying a zip file so they can download the video right to thier hard drive, this will save shipping and packaging etc etc OR, if they chose they can get the DVD. GL2's are bas ass vid cameras. Studio quality and beyond
