This video describes the Guangzhou City Center Transport Project, which was completed in 2007 and had the objective of improving the accessibility of the city center by promoting the efficient use of the urban transport system in an environmentally sustainable way. This project was the first collaboration between Guangzhou Municipal Government and the World Bank. As the third largest city in China, Guangzhou is a major gateway and a primary port for foreign trade.
