@wrx4life44 yes it is a wrx these models were produced as wrxs here in japan and also for export to aus and Europe however was not released in America as a wrx. Same with the legacy b4 for 2000-2004 you had the legacy but not the b4 I believe it was the gt trim in america but my legacy here is a 2000 model and offered as a b4 RSK twin turbo model from the factory. However the only twin turbo models were the legacys even here the wrxs are single turbo and unless you dump cash into them won't kee

@maplestorydude321 A wastegate (external makes noise) controls the exhaust gasses from the up-pipe entering the turbine or rear side of the turbo so it doesnt over spin/ limits boost to the pressure the srping can handle like if you have a 1 BAR spring it will open at 14.7 PSI and it will hold boost there..

@tingles03 The engines are good. You always hear stories about bearing problems, but then you find out they never changed the engine oil or let the car warm up properly. Same story with the gearbox, people think you can dump the clutch on them all day without consequences.

let me say this now twin turbos and two stage twin turbos are totally gay and over rated i suggest you convert your B4 to a single with maybe a vf22 or td06 25g, front mount, possum link, twin barrel nos injection, blah blah balh like mine...
