@bl0gmOnKeY78 sorry - no idea what Particular, Lux and Starglow are, this was all made in Pilgrim Pro 3d - a realtime 3d package which is sadly no longer available.
Whilst I haven't used AE for a few years the reason I use PIlgrim is that it's all realtime, so no waiting for a render to see how it turns out which makes for much more rapid creating.
The particle generator in pilgrim is pretty basic though so most of the effects should be recreatable in AE, but the filter chains I'm not so sure
What I want to learn is how to do all this myself. I mean, I have Trapcode for After Effects, and I can tell a lot of this was made with Particular, Lux, and Starglow. I'm just struggling making something amazing with AE since I just got the program and all.
