Not really. Look up a video from 1986-1991 he is great there. I find his voice is not a great from 1994 to now, although he is not the worst singer out there. Besides I think his style fits slayer very well although you are right his voice in this video is not the best

Slayer were in their 30's in this video, They are in their 40's now, yeah Tom's voice has gradually deteriorated but that hasn't affect the band at all. They keep ruling and owning the thrash scene.
