I have this album, and I listen to it often. There have been days in my work with animals when I have trouble keeping my feet. Today was a good day to listen to the voice of Maria. A sanctuary I've been working on with a friend to house hundreds of rabbits had a tragedy this week - 30 of our rabbits found a hole in our fence and entered a neighbour's yard. She shot them all dead. Spayed and neutered, they were no threat to the environment. My friend had gone to get live traps to remove them.

Dear Zest & all in the peaceful community 'Keep The Green Alive' we would like to say thank you to you all for making the release of Shelter Me possible this year. Yesterday when I was parcelling up the first of the CD's I could hardly contain my excitement that such a project could come to fruition. The journey to release these songs has been unforgettable. Thank you to everyone for making a difference, I hope we will have our first 'Shelter Me' happy ending very soon.
