  • the beginning reminds me of daft punk

  • Jackie is the lead to this song

  • sounds so prince

  • Jackie and Randy sang this song with Mike in the background.

  • Am I the only one who sings "Give In To Me" at the very beginning of the song? XD

anyway this song is so groooovy *o*

  • @LoveSweetMichael damn i was singin that at the beginning too lol

  • "Stop holding on, Start being strong"

    best part of the song

@Tony1TAKE Michael still owned this song even as a backround vocal i agree!

  • Jackie was suppose to lead in the song, "Torture". by as a friendly gesture, he let his brother Jermaine lead it.

Ironically, Jermaine ditched them when appearing in the video. Apparently because Michael couldn't be in it

  • I heard this on the radio once last year. i bought went crazy

  • marlon was co-lead on "Give it up".......Jackie lead this burner....one of my favs from TRIUMPH

  • marlon was co-lead on "Give it up".......Jackie lead this burner....one of my favs from TRIUMOH

  • five beautiful men 'one king'

  • randy is so hot!

  • Michael is by far the cutest, no doubt!!

  • 14 when this came out

  • I like Jackie's song writing, it's very vintage 80's.

  • at 2:55 -- hot jackie!

  • is jackie in lead marlon is second voice, tito, michael, randy at chorus

  • yes thats marlon singing lead and jackie singing hi picth.

  • this sounds good.

  • Excelent video!!! i love it!!! i love the jacksons!! <33

  • who are the 2 ppl disliking this??? they probably made a mistake lol!

  • i love this song,

  • at this time the boys where all sexy looking at the pictures and michael's voice is in every song to trace by the high tone he had that was so unique on him and his dancing to. michael was just the leader of the group that's why he was the leadsinger, i love him and it's a shame he died so joung. he just wasn't ready to die but it's just a murder. no doctor says you are healthy when you are using morphine, which michael was using. they had a high inshurance to mike when the tour didn't start

  • I would like to hear jermaine singing this song. I think his voice might be better than jackie''s on this. What do you guys think?

  • Also, what is that thing 2:35 it looked taped

  • @lisajenx A picture??

  • i love when michael comes in.

  • This is my favorite jacksons albumn

  • @RocAwsum you have reaso, Triumph IS THE BEST ALBUM of the jacksons!!! *w* <333

  • I loved the whole album.

  • The beginning sounds like Give in to Me

  • michael looks gud back in the 70's i just wish he never broke his nose that triggered his addiction to surgery

  • @tashuan16 .... and the addiction to surgery led him into the addiction of propovol (spell?) ........

  • @tashuan16 his father have the blame.... T.T

  • yea micheal really in volve with the destiny and triumph album but not so much with the victory album that really sucks

  • "Baby- you've- got-to- goooooo! UUUNNNGH!" That's my favorite part. Also when MJ says "Hee hee hee! Love is gone!"

  • @synclair0718 LOLOLOLOL i love those parts too!!!!

  • I love this song! It really doesn't sound like Jackie! I always thought Jackie's voice had a more frailer, softer touch to it, he really unleashed his animal on this one..

..Still MJ is my all-time fave. <3

  • jackie has a great voice.. should have had more leads or verses at least

  • i never heard this song before, tight cut

  • this song is tha funk .. excellent selection of photos as well

  • damn, i remember me and my sisters used to jam this album.

  • Oh,I love this song! I miss old school so much.

  • the length is 4:20

  • the triumph album us fucking amazing :)

  • Perfect Soul music.....<3 The Jacksons

  • Lots of hee, hee, hee.Good stuff.

  • I can´t believe Jackie's abz at 2.49!

  • yeah ... not bad if you ask me !

  • who's singing lead

  • Its Jackie, singing lead, he to me was one of the best of the brothers at singing even with Mike and Jermaine, but Randy and Marlon was also good, Tito was Ok though. Jackie should have did mor lead, and more solo albums too, he was great, he also looks great then and now, LOL.

  • I gotta disagree. Michael and Jermaine were the best vocally. Also Randy, when you hear him on songs like "Nothin compares to 2 you". Jackie with the falsetto, eehh, ok...

  • Jackie. Michael used to be the first lead and Jermaine second lead. Jackie, Marlon, Tito and Randy had occasional lead spots. Jackie and Randy wrote this song btw.

  • Oh Man this is my Jam!! I remember singing to it when i was a kid. Now my Kids 19 and 15 sing to it!!

  • At 29 seconds Michael and Randy look just alike.

  • this iz my SHIZZNIT!!!!!! = )

  • Michael was killing the falsetto on this..

  • I remember buying The Jacksons Live! from Woolworths in Newton Abbot, Devon in the early 80's. Watching the programme about the Jacksons house hunting in Devon last year, they walked right past that store. The strangest feeling, I can tell you!

  • Randy is so fucking sexy and his voice is beautiful too!!!!

  • This is Jackie singing though

  • OMG @ 2:50......JACKIE IS LOOKIN GORGEOUS!...All sweaty with his hard 6 pack abs :P

  • 2:50 whooaa is that jackie wit his shirt off ?!

  • 3:38 is epic!

  • damn fine brothers

  • where'd you get these pictures?!?

  • Marlon has always been so sexy to me especially with those pretty eyes

  • I died and went to heaven @ 2:49! Jackie's abs and puckered lips! Yum!

  • dude i almost fell outta my chair...

  • No, i dont think so...just take it easy and always grounded!

  • I do not want to answer this...

  • is the best singer!

  • did mike sing in this one? sounds like jackie took the lead here. wait a minute, i hear 'hee-hee.'

  • yeah it's jackie... mike came in at the end... good ear!

  • This is a classic album. The Jacksons as a group are so talented. I hope the surviving brothers tour again one day. R.I.P Michael Jackson

  • memories ...

  • ESP. THE PIC AT 2:10 AND THE FAM AT 1:30

  • may i jus say something although Jacqui is handling the main vocals michael is also in this song! and michael was very much involved in the triumph album ! he did not abandon the group

  • @MJLUV4LYF jackie sings this??? i thought it was marlon! lol

  • @MJLUV4LYF

    who is Jacqui

  • @MJLUV4LYF Marlon is singing the main vocal.not Jackie

  • @gittahfiend no its Jackie singing in his non-falsetto voice...Marlon sounds more like Jermaine

  • Jackie sounds great on this cut!! I have to own this album!

  • I own this CD. It is great. You should purchase it. You won't be disappointed.

  • This is not bad.Good stuff.

  • nice pictures, look at little Janet

  • no its not

  • Jackie never sounded better. He could have been a big solo star if given stuff like this and Stevie Wonder as a producer.

Just goes to show any of the brothers could have made it under the right direction.

  • peace i have to agree but joe probably wouldnt let them go and try to make it all it would have done was made them the biggest group of all time

  • I think by 1980 the Jacksons were on the way out Michael made Thriller and distanced himself from them. Their Victory Album could have been something- but Michael didn't deliver the goods. Listen to "The Hurt" and other tracks on the album. I only wished that Michael put songs like "Trouble" Someone in the Dark" and "Carousel" on the Victory album. It would have helped the whole group.

I feel upset that Michael did the Victory tour in 1984 and abandoned the guys until the 2001 reunion.

  • I don't see it as Michael abandoning them. They're all very much talented. If they wanted to be named such a name as 'King of POP', believe me it would've happened. I don't know why they didn't keep going. I guess they wanted to explore or discover a world outside of music (all they basically ever known) They did great though. Marlon has a realestate company and a family of 3 kids. Whatever they did (instead of music) they seem happy with their decisions. I wish them all happiness.

  • Michael left the band in 1984. He didnt want to be part of the group anymore. I feel that the brothers could have been something but the record labels didnt know how to market them without Michael. Look at Jermaine Jackson's solo career with Motown and Arista. Great talent but not marketed/given enough good material. In 1984 the jacksons probibly wanted to continue but would have needed Michael's sussess/fame to do it..I have read some sad stuff about the brothers being broke, working odd jobs

  • Michael Jackson was the Jackson 5. I do not believe that effective marketing and better materials would have prolong the Jacksons.

  • When listening to songs like this I believe they could have continued. Their voices werent that bad overall (unlike Randy Jacksons "The Hurt" song on victory)

They could have used Rod Temperton and Quincy Jones to keep going.

  • @pricean the brothers are far from broke

  • they were reallycompeting w/off the wall with this record......

  • Triumph isn't a bad album. Songs like can you feel, wondering who, everybody are great.

  • i don't believe MJ abandoned his brothers,it was just that his star was rising so fast he couldn't hold it down (i've read this),or nothing could've hold it down. watching the victory tour,he was really outshining the rest of his bros, without intending to,maybe. he just had to go solo, the time demanded it.

  • i concur, you can only contain something so powerful for so long, before it has to explode which michael did with "off the wall".

  • what beautiful words you have for MJ going solo :) he was really "power" in the real essence of the word. was it akon or neyo who described him as "energy"? he said, when MJ asked for a meeting with him, when he entered into the room,he could really feel MJ's presence, that he was energy you couldn't ignore him.

  • thank you.i met jackie jackson in 1990 when i was young shoeshine boy living in los angeles.i worked at a car wash in encino, and i just stood there as jackie was getting his car washed.he was very cool and i have to admit i was starstruck.

  • next to Michael,it's Jackie whom i like most,i love how the three of them danced in their J5 days, flanked by Tito and Jermaine. wish i were with you when you met him. i'm imagining his nature to be as gentle as Mike... or maybe all of the brothers are.

  • You say given material, but truth is if Jackie had more self-asteem wich he lacks according to La Toya and other who knows him he would have done it by himself. Jackie is a great song writer. He wrote songs like Can you feel it, Your ways, Time waits for no one, Wondering who, Wait, Torture.

  • you are totally right, they all were a little lazy nad underconfident. They all should of had earlier solo attempts.

  • wait a minuite all of this is michael's voice?

  • No it is Jackie on lead.

  • No. Jackie is on lead vocals. The hee-hee-hee love is gone is Randy, Michael, and Marlon.

  • LOVE THIS SONG!

    they all have amazing voice!

There some sexy pic in that! LOL

  • OFFICIAL TOP FUNK

  • sounds like the system

  • WOW! I almost fell outta my chair @ 2:50 :p

  • guess you don't feel the funk...it's the most funky song on the album

  • Agreed :) But the whole album is AMAZING

  • It's a great album. I'd even put it up there with Off the Wall and Thriller. The Jacksons sound was a bit funkier, MJ solo was more diverse.

  • Yea I agree. Off the Wall is my favorite album of all time...then Thriller and Triumph...Then Get it Together and ABC and Lookin' Through The Windows by the J5..I wish i was alive back then to see the Jacksons on Tour in 1980.

  • Oh no, Triumph is a superior effort that does stand up to OTW and Thriller. You have it right, it has been regarded as a masterpiece, it all came together in 1980 for them.

  • Ahh even the "hee hee hee"? Lol no that's Michael.

I'm used to hearing Jackie sing falsetto so it's nice to hear his normal voice.

  • I confirm, it's Jackie singing there. Excellent song.

  • I think it's Randy that's singing lead.

  • Wow, such an awesome collection of pics of the Jacksons. Thank u so much.

  • This song is off their "Triumph" album...clearly there best work as group post puberty. Every song on this album is good...no throw aways at all. Jackie sings lead on this song by the way

  • triumph is the best jacksons album.MJ from 1970-1984 was so damn good.

  • I'm so in love with this. ♥

Though I have almost every song by The Jacksons, I've never heard this before.

  • cool! Great song. I've never heard this song before. Is this the real Jacksons? It sounds like them but since I've never heard it, then I don't think it's real 'cause I've heard evey song of their's.

  • never heard dis song before wow when was this made

  • it's on the triumph album

  • @mj4lyfe101 uhhh 1980 lol

  • @fluffypillow916 uhhh? lol thank u tho

  • i've got me wondeing who. love this song.

  • Great 5 Stars
