I adopted a cat from the shelter, and he is wonderful! people say they have issues, but he was a stray, and is now a cuddly cat who will sleep at your feet every night :)

This school year I have volunteered at the shelter for 30 hours, cried a lot, begged and pleaded with people to take animals home, fostered two dogs, found them loving homes, and adopted a puppy for myself.

i have a golden retriever corrgi mix and a pitbull lab mix. one looks cute and friendly and the other scares ppl but when meets the person its friendly. both resccues.

people really misjudge Pitbulls, they are victims, they should not be feared because of the acts that are put on them. I also think people are just so cruel and careless. Hopefully one day, it will get better.

Also, some states have laws that state that pit bulls are illegal to own without a very particular license or to own period. They are euthanised humanely so that people didn't get hold of them and use them to train their fighting dogs. I've done a lot of research on this topic, and support you 100%. Just mentioning that from what I've seen, some of your pictures look to be from China Fur Farm. Thanks for making the video though and getting it out there. See mine if you like!

You may want to do some research, but at 0:52 that is actually a bottle of sterile solution for vaccination. Euthanasia bottle is a very blue substance.

you know watching the faces of all those dogs convinces me the ppl = shit 50% are angels the rest need to be put down in the most savage way burnt alive thrown in lion cage guted and quarted some ppl have no heart i have a dog of my own a dingo x staff the owner breeder was going to kill all the pups so i grabed one the best mate ive ever had excellent with all my family members never bitten anyone and i know that if anyone hurt him in anyway i would kill them eye for a eye

omg! the shelter i got my new dog cooper from rescues dogs from kill pounds, and cooper was going to be killed but they rescued him! the killing should be stopped! 5*

5* and Favorites. I agree with Tessa 100%. I hate how people are so unwilling to rescue dogs for agility, because they think they won't be the best. If you truly love dogs then you should want to help them in any way that you can!!! I see so many incredible dogs at the shelter I volunteer with, most of which don't get adopted. If people would alter their dogs and cats we could really win the battle!

I'm always very sad when I ask a fellow "dog lover" or competitor if they are involved in rescue, and their answer without any thought is "No". Anyone that claims to be a dog lover, must be involved in helping to save the millions killed every year. To not, is a contradiction. Great video.
