we loss mom 4yrs ago, she slipped into a diabetic coma few days after coming home from rehab following a total knee replacement surgery on her left knee...mom was in ICU for over a month and never woke up, few mins after 4am February 7th, she took her last breath and died in my arms...mom once told me during 1 of our talks that she wasn't afraid of dying, but that she was afraid of dying alone, I gave her my word that I'd be there til the end...mom was laid to rest a wk later, Valentine Day...
