@hootuhaha dude i love b horror movies. plan 9 from outer space, astro zombies anything off of the syfy network idc but this movie had so much potential to be great! i mean the beginning was bad ass then their is real no explanation for anything else in the movie. i mean the dude pulls his own heart out, thats bad ass! then their really arent any true demons in the whole movie, u see 5 seconds here and their but then its done. this was probably the biggest waste of my B horror time ever

It's about as silly as "The Angry Video Game Nerd" bashing a game specifically made for children. Why in the world would he take a child's game serious enough to bash it in a full review? damn, they used to have this at a n old timey video rental place before everbody went digital, and I knew I had no chance to see it cause I lived wwith my mom and I knew she'd never watch it; now I want to see it so bad!

They made the box lok so unremarkable too, jsut some guy ina robe stadning outside a gothic cathedral and some bitch getting choked by suit of armor on the back, and the synopsis on it put you in the mind of a ghost/evil cultist flck.

I'm not sure why people say that this movie has no payoff... the final hour of the movie is all payoff. Once they get locked in the Church, it's all good stuff.

But, the first act of this movie really feels long, and ends up being pointless. This movie really doesn't need that much buildup. There's good stuff in this movie, though, so it's worth seeing. Both Demons 1 and 2 are better, IMO.

We are again confronted with Dario's psycho-sexual malaise, so hot. A lot of this flick rips off Mann's "The Keep" too. Probably no other film has as many authentic looking dark age demonic beasts as this one does.

This film was such a letdown. The trailer looks amazing but it had to have been one of the most boring idiotic films I've ever seen. This one is right up there with "The Mother Of Tears" on the suck factor.

Wow this trailer makes the movie look really good. Very misleading. Im a huge fan of Michele Soavi who directed this film, Argento was only a producer (misleading again), I dont even remember seeing one of those demons in the movie- I only remember the goat demon which is in about 2 scenes. Like most italian horror films its a slow burn but with no pay off. If you want to watch a good Soavi film rent "cemetary man" aka "dellamorte dellamore" or "stagefright" aka "Bloody Bird". Pass on this shit.

What. The Church is my FAVORITE Soavi film. Obviously you paid no attention to the film because there are about 3 more "demons" besides the "goat demon" you speak of.
