I love my Havaneseeee.

She really knows how to JUMP! I think that is very common in there breed. We always joke that if she wasnt afraid of strangers she could win agility contests, piece of cake! She also has the longest tongue. And she is actually in love with my dad like a woman loves a man. Its actually very cute. She watches him do everything. Even the dishes! Havaneses are AMAZING

They are actually pretty easy to train. You have to be very patient, very repetitive and be sure to reward them! My Lucy is only 3 months old and she's already clapping She learned to sit on command in a matter of hours and pee on command (when she has a full bladder, of course) after three weeks of having her.

The famous Havanese jumping thing is awful. Nothing in our house is safe because our Havs can easily leap right onto the counters. No loaf of bread or box of cereal is safe! More than once, my larger Hav has grabbed an entire pizza off the counter and buried it in the sofa cushions. He also made of with two pounds of raw fish once that took me three days to find (buried in a basket of clean folded clothing). Still, gotta love 'em!

this is soooo cute!! my havanese Rosie has one trick..... high five. so, when she does something bad, and we're yelling at her, she puts her paaw up in the high five position as if that's going to make everything better!! i'll post a vid of her soing her one special trick
