  • I never said it was easy! I just said its boring! Its long and slow paced. And the competitors are small. Its more entaining for me to see big ass freaks lifting carzy weight at a powerlifting meet! But that's just my opinion

  • we may not be able to win Crossfit 2011 but i can get it done. and to say football players dont have endurance is absurd. yeah plays last 4-10 seconds with about 15-25 seconds in between, but for those 4-10 seconds its 100% effort for every play. it takes specific skill to play football. i'd be willing to be that these crossfit guys couldnt hang in a football game...im not saying they arent top athletes, trust me i know they are, but the beating your body takes and to have the body

  • I love the RAW competition of Crossfit. No weight class, no excuses! You got it or you dnt! My trainer hit a DT with a 6:34, we been goin back and forth. LOVE IT

  • This is alright but NCAA Div. 1 football players would annihilate these competitors.

  • @milkokoko Football players have endurance. Are you fucking serious. I don't know why you are commentating on a fitness video if you honestly believe what you wrote. Football players have some of the worst cardio in all of sports...yes they are crazy strong but thats because they dont have to do any cardio training. That sport demands 5-7 second efforts with 45 second breaks in between-do you think that sounds like endurance?!?!

  • @pharry4life man i am not talking about 120 pounder who can run for like 20 km, those ppl are useless, but do u think athletes who have gone say through DeFrancos workout consistently for months if not years will have problems cleaning the amazing wight of 70kg for at least 20 times...

  • @pharry4life ... or doing lunges with 15 kg, it will be way too easy, they wont even feel the weight, check out a complete training session of some of the best coaches (not just gym workouts) and you will see what I am taling about, you can even download some movies... oh yeah, and maybe you imagine the useless fat dudes at college level, I am talking about true athletes meaning fit :)

  • @pharry4life i'd like to know what level of football has a play clock of 45 seconds in between plays...i know for sure i dont at the college level. football players have endurance. they may not be spealer but they get it done. and you cant put all football players into one category. for my training i lift with my team, strongman training and i do cross fit in there and mix it all up.

  • @epw789 Are you being serious!! Div 1 football players have no endurance at all!!! Oh wow, you can do a few 40m sprints. Try doing a a body weight pull up/dip circuit and then rowing 1000m-football players would be hurling up. Please understand the specificity of exercise you cannot, i repeat cannot, assume cross over from one totally different athletic event to another event. I have worked with many different types of athletes and football players are not on my top 3 athlete list.

  • @epw789 Football players are very very strong but honestly they wouldn't well in a CrossFit competition. Reasons being that they will have a lot of trouble when doing bodyweight exercises such as ring dips, muscle ups, handstand pushups, even burpees, and their endurance is not enough to complete some of the long workouts.

  • Is there any judging of form for the exercises being done? Everyone seems to be swinging into them and using momentum. Is that part of the deal?

  • Yes buddy, strict rules for every exercise they do.

    And swinging is totally allowed since it is the function of the movement that really matters.

    Don't you know CrossFit yet? You really should give a try, it''s gonna change your way to see fitness.

  • @Digdigs2 Just look most of them are in good shape....these are not professional gymnasts but regular people who want to be fit...when lifting yourself up, it's not bad to swing...idea is can you get yourself up...
