  • Goddamn!! This still pisses me off lmao

  • I remember this game. The officials handed texas the win by throwing three bogus flags to force Michigan's kicker so far back that he wasn't able to make the field goal which would have made the difference with them winning. What crooks!

  • @guyNbluejeans ridiculous

  • @vonstev1668 The truth is on my side, and that's not ridiculous at all.

  • @guyNbluejeans Whatever helps you sleep. Truth is you couldn't stop Vince. That's why you lost. Don't worry about it. No one could stop him in college. It was a great game and Michigan played fantastic. But you just couldn't stop Vince.

  • @vonstev1668 Correction. Young played a fantastic game, but what he couldn't do the refs did for him (and Texas). Watch the game again and see how those dirty pigs handed Texas the win, just like I described!

  • 1:08

Wtf is VY doing rubbing the Ref?

  • it was the 2004 season they played .buh you no how its works they played this game durin 2005

  • he has a lisp

  • K-STATE OWNS TEXAS!

  • \m/

  • January 1, 2005 - Texas beat Michigan

    January 4, 2006 - Texas beat USC

  • i'd love to play texas again when we're elite again! Maybe invite em up to the Big House???

  • Michigan isn't going to be elite again.

They haven't been elite in 13 years.

  • yeah dude you're right we're never going to be elite again ever in the next 1 million years the earth exists.

    and we went 10-2 in 2000, 10-3 in 2002, 10-3 in 2003, 2004 season in the video 9-3, 2006 11-2, 2007 9-4.

  • They have won 8 games in two years. No one wants to play in Michigan.

  • @busman64 um, i believe texas was in the same position as michigan in the 90s. they became elite again...

  • Austin is one of the best cities to live in, in the United States. Ann Arbor, not so much. Michigan had their chance to get a great coach like Brian Kelly or Harbaugh and they got Rich Rod who has set their program back at least 10 years.

  • @busman64 where are you getting your info? Ann Arbor was rated 43rd best place to live in the country. And he did not set us back 10 years. You'll see in 2010. We're making progress every year. in 10 we'll win 7-8, in 11 we'll win 9-10, then the sky is the limit. Don't believe me and you probably won't. But I have faith in RR. Talk to me after the 10 season and tell me we aren't making progress.

  • There are no jobs in Michigan anymore. Michigan's offense will be better next year, but their defense will be atrocious.

  • @80smusicrox1

As a UT thats right... Actually although Michigan and Texas dont have the NCs that USC, ND, and Bama have, Texas and Mich are the two winningest programs all time... Texas 107 winning seasons out of 116, winning record against every major power in college football (mich, Neb, Okla, Ohio State, ND, Alabama) and the second most wins and 2nd highest winning % while Michigan is first in those two categories but Texas will catch up if Rich Rod doesnt fix that program

  • @Smo0ochMyGooch sir you are wrong Notre Dame is 8-2 vs Texas

  • @Smo0ochMyGooch texas won't catch up unless they fix their program now...

  • @Smo0ochMyGooch Michigan has 11 recognized national championships....

  • USC was the PAC 10 Champ and went to the Natl. Championship game. That left Cal in the number 2 spot to go to the Rose Bowl, but Texas was a slightly better rank. It was a toss up, Rose Bowl wisely chose Texas. Cal got killed by Texas Tech in the Holiday Bowl. Boo hoo.

  • just curious...does anyone know how this matchup came to be? it's usually a PAC-10 vsBig 10 or PAC 10 vs Big 12, hardly ever Big 10 vs Big 12. anybody know?

  • USC was playing in the title game that year and Texas was an at large BCS bid

  • steve breatsons performance was equally impressive as VY's... too bad Miiiichigan lost though

  • i like texas and michigan theyre both good programs, except for michigan this year, but i like texas a LOT MORE! Hook 'em Horns and Go blue

  • michigan didnt play in the 2005 rose bowl USC did and texas still won HOOK'EM HORNS

  • Dude, check your calendar. Texas played USC in the 2006 Rose Bowl. Texas played Michigan in January 2005. Come on, man!

  • Right... lol

  • @daviddowns1 Texas still won both of em!

HOOK EM HORNS, And hopes to a great 2011 after a horrible 2010

  • lmao fail

  • @Sworchihmir Sworchihmir, you'd think you'd double check your facts before posting that.

  • The whole freaking offense were Vince Young's Legs! How sad

  • That actually makes no sense whatsoever.

  • what a prick, more like "how amazing". This video must hurt your feelings.

  • I would agree with that also...

  • @ploplaya06 That makes every team that lost to Texas seam even worse. how sad if thats true that no one could stope "1" man.

  • @ploplaya06 how sad? u must be from Michigan!!!!

  • @ploplaya06 the whole offense was Vince Young's legs? your shittin me right? They had Pittman, Charles, and Thomas..and those are just the key players...so dont go to longhorn videos and hate on the team u kno nothin bout.

  • @RIPxTheRev Exactly. If it's all VY's legs, howcome he threw for 3,000 yards?

  • @dominiclamar1 lol i kno! thats wat im sayin! i mean if ure gonna come up with excuses as to why we won...come up with some logical excuses...not that 1 man team bullshit!

  • @ploplaya06 really dumbass? limas sweed and billy pittman didnt help vince at all!

  • TEXAS IS WHERES ITS AT!!

  • the "running quarterback" is so bush league and obviously "college." pass the freaking ball. or hand it off. i don't care. stop running with it!

  • vince cant throw at all either way. did u notice how all of his throws i this video were like wide open and 5 yrds away.

  • This was his sophomore year. His throwing improved by miles his junior year. Watch his game winning throw to Limas Sweed to beat Ohio State.

  • Ignorance is what makes youtube comments the best. Correct Vince cant throw at all. He was actually just a running back who got direct snaps every play (just letting you know thats sarcasm bc apparently you have a hard time figuring stuff out)

  • did u watch the cards game 387 yards

  • OH yeah, by the way vince young is better than tebow in my opinion he came from behind something tebow has never done.

thanks for debating for no reason ; )

  • tim tebow is great but vince young is on a whole new level

  • i gotta see vince young make it through the sec. when he got to the pro's he facing sec type speed thats why he is struggling.......the big twelve had no talent on defense but oklahoma...usc's defense was not good at all.

  • Vince is the greatest college football player of all time!

  • haha, proud to say i was there to witness, but i don't remember vince rubbing the ref at 1:08 in celebration, lol

  • i agree Vince is way better than Tebow

  • tebow faced much better defenses than vince young way way way much better defenses...tebow had to face alabama's defense, georgia, lsu, to name a few

  • is that the same defenses that utah ran up and down the field on, or the same lsu defense that gave up 31 to arkansas, ole miss and troy? how about that great georgia defense from last year- 41 to bama, 38 to lsu, 49 to florida, 38 to kentucky, and 42 to ga tech. wow! i think you need to name a few more

  • Vince young beat a great michigan team that was something tebow didnt do i might add. thanks for the info

  • i gotta see vince young make it through the sec........he beat a good team once or twice a year....i am talking about facing big time recruits every week...vince is dealing with sec type speed for the first time in the pro's thats why he is struggling

you are right about the numbers but getting your self up for big crowds and big time recruiting teams every week is not easy.....utah or troy didnt have to play in the sec every week....they would have been worn out by week 3 in the sec.

  • I like Tebow too but if you look up the stat's Vince faced more top ranked defenses than Tebow did, and beat what almost all analysists were calling the best or second best college program EVER in the national championship. Vince and Tebow are both beast but Vince is in a class of his own. Or at least he was in college...

  • he didnt play in the sec like tebow....he played a good team every now and then..........tebow faced the best recruits week in and week out. that is a major difference than playing a great team every now and then.....injuries and everything else becomes a factor.

  • What was the deal with Young always running to the opposing team's band (1:34). I remember when the Huskers played in Austin in 2003 and he ran right up to us and started talking shit. Couldn't help but give him the bird, though I respect him as a player!

  • probably all in good fun, vince is a good guy. out of curiousity though what did he say? if you remember lol

  • No idea, but it was pretty hilarious. He did get flagged for it, but really didn't matter cause the Huskers got swatted pretty good. Always enjoyed going to Austin, frienly people, great eats, great drinks

  • really pains me to say this as an aggie fan but congrats texas i hope you continue to win your bowl games

    05 Win vs Michigan

    06 Win vs USC

    07 Win vs Iowa

    08 Win vs Arizona State

    09 Win vs Ohio state

wish A&M could win bowl games or at least get to some we will next year though

  • Yeah thats right they have been winning a lot of bowl games. I dont have anything for or against Texas but Brown has done a heck of a job coaching them since he took the job.

  • wow, thanks man, waw to be a classy fan

  • y'all will be good next year!, hell to be fair y'all scared the shit out of me this year, and i don't even want to play u again next year cause yalls QB is a pretty good damn player!

  • TEXAS....NUF SAID.

  • V.Young in Burnt Orange = SUPERMAN! haha HOOK EM!

  • Hook 'Em, Horns!

  • I'm a fan of both Football programs, but this was a great game! I have alot of respect for Texas and Michigan.

  • Great Game, with possibly the greatest Football Programs! Hook'em!

  • As a Michigan fan, this game hurt like hell. That said, Vince was a SPECIAL college player. He did the exact same thing to U$C the following year. Also, I heard that Texas fans were nothing but classy at that Rose Bowl. Props to you guys for that. Maybe we'll meet again some day.

  • I hope so! Hook'em. Honestly, it's not fun seeing U of M losing like they are, even as a UT fan. I root for them every year against osu, God I hate them!

  • Hell ya dude that would be a good game! Texas and Michigan!

i dont mean to be a dick but i really dont keep up with teams that are not in the Big 12 or in the SEC but did yall do good this year?

  • go longhorns!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The ending to the game hurt a lot, as a Michigan fan. They had built up a 10 point lead and looked like they were on their way to getting a great victory, but VY put on the cape and led Texas back...

  • is this Verne Lundquist on the narration?

  • YESSSSSSSSS

  • Vince Young is the greatest college football player in history!

  • I wouldn't say Vince Young is the best player in college football history but he is close, and he is the best clutch QB college football history... and he was alot better then that fag Tim Tebow...

  • VY was better than Tebow but who do you think was a better college player than VY?

  • When I say this I mean PLAYER.... not just QB. But I think Charles Woodson was incredible, Tommie Frazier was a beast, there were alot of great players from college football to say that VY was the best but he was very good, one of the greats...

  • I also liked Tommy but i think he had like some type of deep thigh bruise that ruptured some blood vessels in his thigh. it hampered him his entire carreer.
