If you open the text file for the music, you can make the song go speeds higher than 500, simply by changing the number at the end. (Since this song is definitely faster ingame)
I actually made and posted an incomplete version of this in MPC early on, (which I am still retooling for the excessively high section. In any case, this is a good attempt, I know the troubles you faced with the ending of the song personally.
X-nauts are kick ass, thus they need kick ass music to accompany them on the moon :)

Strange... my MIDI when multiplied by 4 makes 500. i know i can go higher than 500, my MKDS RR one is higher i think

That's how I filmed my Booster's Railroad ("And My Name's Bukki") thing at 2700 tempo without too much lag.
