A tactical nuke can be bigger, for instance Uphot Knothole Grable was 15KT, similar to Little Boy. These weapons would pretty much wipe out anything unprotected within 1 mile of the blast. "At Hiroshima, severe structural damage to buildings extended about 1 mile (1.6 km) from ground zero, making a circle of destruction 2 miles (3.2 km) in diameter" wikipedia.
Ive been waisting my time searching ebay for the last hour and half for one of those, and I cant find one anywhere, I cant even find a short ranged version. Im giving it 10 more minutes. There`s not even one second hand. Does anyone know where I can pick one up from ? Im also wondering if I need to apply for special permission, or fill out a form, with it being nuclear ?
Yeah, that would be why we used high-speed cameras, generally gun cameras developed for P-51's, and put them in lead lined boxes. Actually, if you'd watched the whole video, you'd see some of the movie equipment. The Cannon is on display at the National Atomic Museum in Albq, New Mexico.
