@EAFSQ9 - We have over 500km of electrified tracks here (Wellington suburban and Hamilton-Palmerston North), which will become about 640km after the Auckland Electrification Project is completed in 2014. Used to have a couple of short sections in the South Island as well, but they were dieselised in the 1970's and 1990's.
