It's a speedrun. Infinite ammo is required.

does running with grenades equipped make you run faster? if not you shouldnt do it, you could need to hit b to activate a team door or something and end up giving your partner grenades thus wasting time

Yes it does.
Doesn't make you faster..its just that c-turns or right stick aiming is fastest with nades.

Thought it made you run slightly faster, it's just so slight it's not very noticeable. ah
