How easy is this to set up with Traktor? I don't use the mic inputs so if I could map the effects parameters on traktor to the hi mid and low mic1&2 on the mixer this would make a beast of a mixer! So many effects possibilities that way on top of the ones with the mixer. Thanks

Hell yeah man that's amazing for a beginner set up. I'm hearing alot of good things about this mixer, and I have 2 Axis 9s and I love them. Axis 4s are probably fine too.

And headphones are all personal preference. If they have pretty clean sound and are comfortable they are fine

i recently bought this mixer and i have problem connecting it to computer. i wanna hook it up with virtual dj. i have conncted my mixer to my pc by a cable ( from master out put to soundcard input behind my pc) and changed my virtual dj configration to what it should be but it still doesnt work. any help?

it all about the soundcard. if you only have integrated one with linein, lineout and micin, then check the settings for it and if you can, change it, you got to have two linouts wich goes to mixers ch1 and ch2 line inputs. put the amp/speakers on mixers master/booth/rec output. then set the virtualdj to that ouputs, im dont use that soft, so i cant help you there. also, asio4all driver is good to have installed. hope this helps;)

on the website to buy the mixer it says Booth an master outputs are XLR which are fully digital outputs an have diff connectors than RCA cables

XLR aren't digital outputs. XLR are symetric outs, used to connect the mixer to a professional PA system.
