  • I can help with this question (I also helped with this installation). The second seat and the first seat are actually the same product, the BoBike Maxi, which is available as an accessory when you buy a Mundo. They attached in similar ways, using two of the rack stays instead of the seat stays.

  • The second seat attaches directly to the cargo rack and the rack's uprights. Since the rack is made of steel and is essentially a part of the bike's frame, the set-up is really solid. The first seat attaches to the seat post and the drop-downs, and my 2 year old rides in that seat. The owner of Yuba, Benjamin, installed this first-of-its kind customization himself. My 4-and-a-half year old rides in the second seat. So far all three of us are really enjoying the routine.

  • Hey like the clip. I am considering buying a mundo to transport my two boys - aged 2 and 5. How did you attach the second seat to the bike? And how do you find moving around with them? Would really appreciate hearing about it.
