I can't wait for my PlayBook. Without Flash Player, the iPad 2 is a non-starter. Not even considering the lackluster hardware specs (VGA front camera in 2011? Are you serious?)
If I didn't carry a BlackBerry phone, I'd be deciding between the smaller Galaxy Tab and the PlayBook. Since the PlayBook bridges to the BlackBerry phone for free tethering and messaging over the tablet, it's done. Love what you do, with BlackBerry.
the ipad is the best. no other tablet can surpass what the ipad has achieved and deal with it. the bb playbook is good, i'm getting one but its not as functional as the ipad. i will have both the ipad and the bb playbook. maybe even the galaxy tab or something. but none of these can surpass what apple has achieved
@eacob Apple achieved nothing with the Ipad. it is an oversized Iphone which COULD have real capabilities but instead they would rather cripple it from the get go, that way all of the apple consumers will be forced to buy every subsequent edition in order to have what it should have contained the first time around.

The homescreen does look like an iphone , but it has actual tablet apps. 65000 of them. If you think moving widgets around is a 'real capability' , have fun with that. The apps on the ipad provide more capabilities than any other tablets , not to mention entertainment.

A tablet is not a laptop or a pc. Stop comparing the ratio like that. You don't use your monitor in portait and you don't run full screen apps on your monitor (with a few exception).
