I found a tick on my ear once (I almost never go into wooded areas, so im not sure how it got there), but I thought it was a scab or something, and i ended up accidentally picking it off, and i went to go throw it away, and i realized it was a tick (it was light brown, im not sure what kind), and i ended up throwing it (on my bed -.-), and I slept in my living room for two days, until I finally found it crawling in my bed. I grabbed it with toilet paper, and flushed that sucker down the toilet!

I don't know why you would just flush it. Ticks can survive a wash in detergent and on a hot cycle. When I was younger and didn't know any better, I just washed it down the sink for like 15 seconds. Walked in a few hours later to use the bathroom and that bitch made its way back up. Scared the hell out of my sorry ass. It takes a great deal to drown them.
