I owned a stock 1970 SS 350 Muncie-4speed 12 bolt posi rear with 20k miles on it in the late 1970's. All I did was install a big holley carb on it and it was a screamer. Fun car.

Yes I know thats not stock : ) Although mine for a stock car with that big Holley carb and those 411 gears screamed and put lots of smiles on my friends faces. Lost my license with well over 60 points on it. No computers to keep track of anything back then. I beat a 383 automatic roadrunner with it and lots of other Camaros. It had 10.5-1 compression heads from the factory and premium was 94 octane back then.

auto parts store. But when u get bigger U joints you gotta have a Bigger components to accept them. Like the yoke on the rear and and the trans. And you will have to have bigger ends on the drive shaft. Im sure you could get non greasable solid U joints for your ap. which are stronger then stocks kinds.

Broke a U joint once before we went to 1350 joint. and blew the trans a couple times. Its Pretty stout parts in this thing. It has a Spool with 4.10s and 35 spline moser alxels and a 3" steel drive shaft. Pretty much only drive line weak links have ever broke.

yup thats the nose of the rearend pointin up, the rearend then looks like its comin down. probably has 700 pounds of torque on the nitrous. soon as you launch the rearend always wants to rotate like that.
