Merida leaving Arsenal is such a big big blow. Iv seen him play in the carling cup, reserves and in the first team. His pace is decent, and his shot is alright. He certainly isn't an Eduardo or a Vela, but he'll have to do. Height is something and so is strength, something that our smaller strikers dont have mate.

EXACTLY!!!! i'm glad someone sees it! Song has been sensational this season, and when everyone doubted him last season, Wenger saw something that we dont and look at him now! and the best thing is, he can only get better..he's only 22. Plus, i dont know if you saw the wolves game on sat, but Ramsey played in song's position for a while and i thought he did really well! Ramsey is gonna be a big player for us...sort of like a fletcher/scholes type player for man utd!

I was hoping Wenger to sign a striker before the season started. There were talks of Huntelaar before Milan signed him, who I think could have made a great partneship with Van Persie. Also Maroune Chamakh who Wenger was obviously very interested in, I havent seen him much but last year he was a key player for Bordeaux. Personally though, I'd like to see a Drogba type player up front. But I have total faith that whoever Wenger will sign will be 100% right, just look at the Verminator!!!

His pace is decent, and his shot is alright. He certainly isn't an Eduardo or a Vela, but he'll have to do. Height is something and so is strength, something that our smaller strikers dont have mate.

Bendtner is a great player. You can't have seen many games with bendtner mate. He did srew up ONE goal in ONE match but since that he's been nothing but a great important player at Arsenal.

Fabregas is a phenominal player but I've been an Arsenal fan since birth my whole family are Arsenal fans I'm not a fake supporter. In a year or 2 if Bendtner does make the starting team he won't be anything more than an average player score a goal here and there thats it then people like you can complain more about Wenger not winning us titles because we don't have good enough players on the squad. Guess what in a year or 2 when Bendtner is starting & doing nothing then you'll change your tune.

Yeh funny how they were playing "second fiddle" but they still made almost 100 appearances last season between them. It's also funny how even though Berbatov and Tevez were injured more than Bendtner last season as you said, they still made a similar amount of appearances to him and in Tevez's case, he had more appearances than Bendtner.........

what i like about england is that a player age 15 can get a proffesional contract, that was the reason merida left barca youth to join arsenals.
IM a barcelona fan but i really like arsenal, they invest so much in the youth team, arsenal fans and wenger so deserve titles they play such nice fotboll.

I do have a point; cesc moved to la masia to further his develoment - do I need to name the players that graduated out of la masia all with the barca DNA; like cescs idol - pep. Lol one year? If he got his technical ability at his village team (big LOL) why not stay at his village, and not move to la masia, get bloody real FFS. Its the same reason c. ronaldo moved to sporting.

You're an idiot. Cesc was at Barcelona for THREE years. That's it. He was never "made" there. He trained there was THREE years and is now almost on his 7th year at Arsenal. Cesc is still young, I agree, but Iniesta is "only" 25 too. When Iniesta began to play in the first team, he was already better than what Cesc is now.
Cesc is still an amazing midfielder, but Iniesta and Xavi are better, no doubt about it.
